    If u r placing it under direct light blast tom your led, maybe try to place it under a more shaded area with lesser light. Some lps such as prata need to acclimatize to strong light especially from led.

    What kind of simple led? Maybe can shade it from light, place in a low flow area & feed it once or twice a wk to see if there's any improvement. If u hv iodine or amino acids, can also supplement to improve its health.

    U can put it in a PVC pipe. I saw in some reefer's tank before. They usually DIY a rack or something to place their corals. Or any alternative is to place in btwn ur LR.

    I've the same problem, a lot of reefers telling me that its due to insufficient feeding. Sometimes it due to led if u r using one.
