  1. If its hard and doesn't move, it does look like a pink birdnest.
  2. Its not stinging any nearby corals so its ok to juz leave it as it is.
  3. Color of corals look better wif the new lights.
  4. Hey bro, finally see u start u own tank thread, camping here.
  5. From reefbuilders, things u can do to improve coloration of different colored sps. http://reefbuilders.com/2008/09/03/guide-of-sps-coral-coloration-make-them-more-vivid-bright/ Potassium only affect pink/red and some purples in sps.
  6. Agreed with bro reef garden that your tank is really inspirational. Sand bed still got space, can load in more popular lps like Scolymia, Acanthophyllia aka prata. Lol
  7. Think u shd use less white and more actinic and blue plus to give your coral better fluorescence. But nonetheless ur corals still look good!!
  8. Hmm... I thought its peebee with the time lapse vid, not Bearishcat's members tank & specs thread?
  9. Ya, maybe not recommend for beginners. Not sure wat the tool is call though, can use a table electric saw too. Use protective goggle and just push the lps through the middle or which part u intend to frag.
  10. Ha ha, u juz need to know how to operate the tool and be careful not to cut urself. Maybe can also use a normal saw.
  11. It can be fragged but u need a specialized cutter like the one in GO. Sorry, dunno what's that tool is called. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2222107
  12. She misspell gonio as gonia. And I think she thot u were correcting her mistake with posting of gonio pic with the word, gonio on top.
  13. Try feeding more amounts of food per feeding session. When the faster swimming fishes have their full, hopefully the leftover will be taken by your YT.
  14. Depends, most zoas need moderate to strong lighting so dun think its good to place them under shade. U see them stretching their necks to get more light.
  15. Bro, nice photography!! I've always wanted to ask u but forgets everytime, what camera r u using?
  16. Can cut inside tank, I've tried before, but u need to off ur pumps & wm for awhile. I think its better to frag off ur birdnest than toadstool but it's up to u. Cos your toadstool big & nice.
  17. I think its ok for your toadstool to touch your birdnest, shouldn't have much issue. Mine is touching too. For xenia, if u have a scrapel or small penknife, u can try scrape it & peel it off from the base where its attached to the rock slowly in order not to damage it. If u can't remove it without hurting it then guess u have to destroy it. Better to do at nite when its polyps all closed up.
