Selling off these two pieces of corals at $30 (for both). I am not quite sure of the name. Selling because they are really too big for my nano. When the corals expend, they will be 1.5 times the size seen in the picture. Collection at Blk 305D Anchorvale Link. If viewing is needed, please let me know at least 5 hours in advance. Not convenient to come up to my unit so i must separate the coral into a pail and let it settle before it comes out of its polyp. I apologize in advance for the inconvenience caused. Feel free to contact me at 85713539. Thank you. Regards, Anonymous2294

Updates. My purple star polyps have never fully opened. However when i added the chaeto and left the tank running for 12 hours, i woke up in the morning only to see all my purple star polyps swaying in the water. I guess the chaeto has done quite a good job in absorbing the nitrates within the 12 hours. I will continue to monitor to see if the nitrates can be brought down to even lower levels. Hahas. Seeya:D Now i have some a chaeto compartment in the display tank. I placed them in some black netting. The nitrates are now under control. Planning to get some xenia corals as well as i heard they do absorb nitrates for photosynthesis. I also heard that they do host clownfish. Regards, Anonymous2294

Thats something new to me. I probably will place have a LR structure forming a hill. The filter will then be placed a few cm behind the LR. Hope that works. Regards, Anonymous2294

Hi bro:D Flow wise shld nt be an issue because the pond is small and i will get a more powerful pump. Nutrients wise probably 2-3 fishes. If nothing goes wrong, i should set up the pond end of this month or next month. Regards, Anonymous2294

My friend suggested to me that i can use the water from the chaeto pond to replace water in my display tank during water changes. Water from the display tank will then go to the chaeto pond. They are two separate systems. Wanna ask also, in my display tank, the nitrates are a little high so i wanna plant some chaeto. But i dun like the idea of having chaeto all over the nano reef. Looks really bad with corals. So i bought a black net and placed some crushed corals in it, ready to plant some chaetos. Is it okay to do so? My concern is that the chaeto will not attach itself to sth and then it starts floating out of my net. Its my first time planting chaetos here.

Anyone has chaeto to spare? Mine is a new tank so i have nth much to spare. I am planning to build a chaeto compartment in a corner of my display tank to curb the nitrates problem. When my chaeto are ready for harvest, i will give away for free too:D Can contact me at 85713539. Thanks. Regards, Anonymous2294

I am planning to build a chaeto pond by the window. Crushed coral base with some live rocks. One pump and one cooler fan. No skimmer. Three turbo snails and maybe one damsel. Feasible? Anyone? Regards, Anonymous2294

Corals that do not eat meaty stuff like mushrooms, do they produce nitrates? Regards, Anonymous2294
