Hi. I am a newbie to marine fish keeping. I have been keeping freshwater fishes for 4 years. Currently, I have an african cichilid tank, a koi pond and a nano reef (2 months old). In my area, the tap water has about 12.5ppm of nitrates. I am using seachem safe for the time being but it is troublesome to mix the water everyday to top up the tanks.
