you could try to cover the algae with a piece of rock to deprive it of light, but (correct me if i am wrong), i think by doing this you could release nutrients back to yr tank. but this is only a short term solution. best way is deprive it of the nutrients it needs to grow.

ok, will discribe my 'biopellet reactor'. its accually a media bag with biopellets and a pump blowing under it. looks like a reactor, thus its name. btw, is 300l per hour blowing at biopellet enough?

hi, a few days ago i added seachem matrix into my tank and since then, my skimmer has been overreacting and producing alot of bubbles, such that i have to empty my collection cup every 10 minutes.i am using red sea prizm skimmer. any advise on what can i do?

i not using matrix carbon, just matrix only. directions never state to rinse it b4 using it.starting to regret my actions now. and i am not using media bag cause instructions say don need to use.

today added seachem matrix and now whole tank in trouble.skimmer bubbling too much,water cloudly and like got dust-like particles in it.is there anything that i can do??? or do i just wait for the water to clear? thanks for advise.
