can find starfishes in most LFS

false alarm. today nitrite return back to 0. also added some zoas and 2 cleaner shrimps. seem to be doing quite well in the tank. will post picturesnext week after putting in fishes and some more corals.

confused now. 'proper cycling' by lemonlemon says that doing water changes will be good for reducing NO3

ammonia and nitrate never test cause someone advised me that since ammonia will turn into nitrite, ammonia do not need to test.as for why change water , is because going to put in coral soon as it seems that the hitchiker coral in my tank seems to be thriving well.

forgot to mention, i changed 15% of water and i think it might have disturbed the sandbed. will this affect the nitrite levels? what can i do to reduce it?

hi, still in the mist of cycling my tank. just changed water this morning.tested the water and found that nitrite levels rised from 0ppm to 0.1ppm. would like to know if this is normal and if is not, what corrective measures should i take.

hi, was thinking about keeping a seahorse or two. any idea on how it can be trained to feed on frozen mysis?

can specify yr tank lighting how bright? cause SPS need strong lighting.

i don't think that it will move if it likes the spot that it is positioned in.

just to check, but is my lighting enough? i have 2 blue t5 and 2 white t5. 1blue and 1 white t5 is 16w each while the other blue and white is 22w each. tank is 1.5ft high.

my tank got hitchiker coral, so must on lights. so the algae is called diatom? still think that phosphate remover is the best... any recommendations for po4 remover? saw at ML a bottle of goodbye po4... is it good? thanks for advise

forget to add, algae looks brown and its not only growing on glass but also growing on sandbed. any idea how to remove po4 other than major water change. heard that there is such thing as a po4 remover. any recommendations and what is the price like?
