light bright enough to grow cheato?

i don't reccomend using fine sand. my also fine sand, and when fishes go near to it, the water starts to turn cloudly and my skimmer starts producing alot of waste. don't know why.

i am no expert, but i will try to answer your questions. 1)it is possible, but you might have to get some things 2nd hand from pasar malam. 2)for lights, can go for lumenaqua or the new LED lights from madpetz(forgot what it is called)skimmer can go for BM, reef octopus or skimz. 3)i do not really know about any of this, but i think that with a few small wavemakers also can.but if i am not wrong MP10 can adjust it to mimick nature. 4)for wattage, not really sure but i think 2-3 watts will be ok.

actually, DSB helps with filtration also. but in my opinion, sandbeds as deep as 6 cm do not look nice in display tank. can build a refugium for it.

DSB is 6cm and above, if i'm not wrong. mine is 2cm

my brian seems to be swelling. i don't know why but it is not because of the light as whether i on or off the lights, the brian still starts to swell. after swelling for around 2 hours, it will shrink to normal size.any experts can explain this? do note that there is a small tear in the tissue of the brain, so you can see its skeletonon the outer side of the brain. is this the reason of it swelling? or is the swelling norm? should i remove it? thanks for advise.

found a worm in my tank today. might be a fire worm or bristle worm. don't know because did not see it under light. any suggestions on how to kill it because every time i try to take it out or prod it with my chopstick, it just retreats back into the liverock. worried that it would kill my clowns so want to kill it immediately.

just got two clowns from sealife and another two corals from GO today. the clowns are not paired and they seem to be fighting although one is bigger than the other. anything i should do or should i just wait for the bigger one to become the female? also, one of my corals seem to be releasing mucus. is it norm? thanks for your advise.

just to check, if i stock my tank too fast with LPS and soft corals, will it crash? because from what i understand, corals do not produce waste. is this true?
