  1. Thanks man. I don't like losing fishes no matter how cheap or easy they are. Ur grammas last time got any explanation why they up lorry?
  2. Anyways I noticed my gramma has been acting weird and hiding alot since last week. I came back from work and saw it dead in its usual spot. Haih. Im at a loss to explain its demise. Fat fat also can go one. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Tapatalk 2
  3. Yeah bro I think I just got lucky. But ur fowlr looks good still
  4. Thanks bro :D Your fowlr also looking very good Sent from my GT-I8190N using Tapatalk 2
  5. Two short vids of my daily regime. Feeding mysis time. http://youtu.be/xTgfaLYW2EU Feeding White Clams time. http://youtu.be/t6PsgxjAXWw This on top of flakes, cyclopeeze and pellets. I can never keep my water nutrients down like this haha. Sorry for bad quality. Watch in HQ pls!
  6. Another week has passed. Cloudiness gotten better though still there. I have reached the conclusion its the biopellets kicking in actually. Its harder to take out the copper this time round. Copper still hovering at 0.1. All fishes doing well. Got a new multibar to encourage the rather passive old one to come out more. And tge result is that it really came out more albeit chasing the new one around. Hope it dies down along with the passiveness. Well thats it. Boring update. Cheers and hv a happy sunday. 7. Sorry bro was there rather quickly didn't ask the price. On top of that, there was a couple of asfurs, a rather nice rusty with spots that formed straight lines and not the random spots all over (its not v obvious until u put it side by side with another rusty but nice nonetheless), tiny clown trigs, 2 multibar left and 2 hybrid yellow/scopas tang.
  8. What fish is it bro? If its either an angel or butterfly then white clams are almost irresistible to them. Clams like this that u can find at the market : From my experience, observe where the fish usually swim and see which live rock/area it will peck at or look for food at. That's where you place the clams. If its a small fish like an anthias or chromis, cyclopeeze is your best bet. Have a good morning :D Sent from my GT-I8190N using Tapatalk 2
  9. Any fish updates at pasir ris farms? Thinking of gg down during lunch. Thanks in advance.
  10. Bro kkk121 how about a big fowlr tank since thats the point being able to keep large angels and a nano sps tank to satiate ur hunger. Smaller sps tank also lower costs
  11. Niceee. Very healthy looking fishes there bro.
  12. Thats a nice aquascape. Good balance. Good job bro.
  13. That's good. The smell of live rocks is natural as ur going through the cycle so as long as it doesnt get too bad till it stinks ur house. Tank cloudy after the wavemaker, try pointing the wavemaker upwards a little to get surface agitation of water. This helps with oxygenating ur tank and also reduce the cloudiness. Meanwhile without sounding like a party pooper, watch ur stand and tank for any signs of leakage every now and then. It sucks having spent 700 and get told u made a very wrong purchase. But u need to be careful. Losing 700 is nothing if anything bad happens to u or ur family members, touch ur cabinet wood. let the tank run for a full month and start planning what other equipments u need. Clean the canister filter every week. U can place filter media like ceramic rings inside it. Just need to be diligent with cleaning it. I thought u already have a top filter? Anyways good luck. Now the fun starts
  14. Bro you for sure can keep one. Its easier than u think actually!
  15. Lol bro this is the only place in my tank where I am embarassed to show cause its damn ghetto/messy/all over the place. But okay then. Red hose is chiller line. I was lazy to add an extension of the pipe down to sump so I stacked rocks and used a betta box with sponge as prefilter. Bought filter sock and holder but never use cause I find it easier to change sponge every week than to wash the sock. Sump made by Vincent. I kind of copied bro Admiraltian's sump layout after seeing his tank thread. Hope this helps.
  16. Pellets seaweed almost anything u throw in. Just keep trying. Fish can survive about a week given ur tank is established.
  17. Apologies in advance for the crappy pics. Water is quite cloudy due to heavy feeding. Spotfin Pair New Multibar Angelfish. Top 3 favourite fish. Nibbling on mysis and very active. Surprised me with its outgoingness. Rock Beauty the new pig of my tank. Hybrid Yellow/Scopas Tang or Scopas var. Either way its cool to me. Unfocused Pic but I like it anyways with the two shepardis behind the male flame. Female Flame. Shepardi 1. Shepardi 2. I like this one more. The black part on top extends all the way to the caudal area to the start of the tail. My male pimp with 4 ladies. Shepardi 1 with a female flame. Shepardi 1 is quite the camwhore imo. Venustus going strong. Semifasciatus Pair. New one from Ah Beng. bought on friday, feeding well on mysis and cyclopeeze. The streamers on my semifasciatus that i was talking about. Gf's unwanted clown growing fat by the day. Guam Flame Hawk from TFC. Chose this piece as it has a black crown on top of its head. My pride and joy. The Harlequin Filefish. Fat and always ready to eat. Well thats it. Again apologies as the water is quite cloudy due to heavy feeding. In a rush to update pics as gf is rushing me to go h&m. Cheers.
  18. Oh and with regards to the the WC, no need. Take it as an ammonia source for the bacteria to start a cycle. But wavemaker please. If not ur tank is going to be a dead smelly water tank.
  19. Buy a wavemaker to move water in that tank. U went to ah beng to buy the live rocks thus u should know the shop in front of his sells marine as well. They sell cheap sunsun wavemakers. The crabs and worms dying is cause of so many reasons. After so many bros advised u and tell u, I can empathise with u on how suddenly there's so many things to know or check. One advice I can give is calm down and relax. U have water in the tank u have live rocks u even have 2 chromis inside already. Dont buy anything else for this one month. Remember in this hobby, haste makes waste. Thus get that wavemaker, put it inside and let the tank run for a full month.During this one month, slowly get ur ammonia and nitrate test kits, a hydrometer to measure salinity if u are on a budget. And read up, alot. Hope this helps. I think being technical right now about equipments, water cycle and all is just gona confuse u further. Just chillax and enjoy your time. This is a hobby after all not NS. If u like any help or unclear about things, feel free to pm me.
  20. Thanks bro. Im following ur tank thread quite closely as well. The amount of gems in ur tank is unbelievable. And thanks for answering my query that time.
