Thanks bro I did check that, actually used a raiser( plastic mats to raise the skimmer) to bring water level of the skimmer to the Skimz logo level( recommended by aquamarin)and further more sump design is such that my Skimmer water level will always remain constant Kind of confused why this is happening
-
Hey bro, thanks for the reply, Yes i checked its at the same level, didnt move

HI I have a Skimz 121 skimmer for my 3 ft tank the problem i have is that, when i turn on the skimmer, it works fine and the foam is below the neck of the Skimmer When i leave it overnigh, withouth adjusting anything or add anything to the water, the foam automatically climbs up and fills my cup with water and that splashes water everywhere around my sump twice i have sent the skimmer to Aquamarin, they are still figuring out what is the problem Any help? Thanks

Wow, that was a sentimental header, whats the reason bro to quit?? Thanks for the brief guide, however, this whole site is actually an extensive guide, just that information is populated across but we can search for it, IMHHO( honest and HUmble opinion) this hobby cant use a Quick start guide First and foremost ppl should understand that this is no Kidsplay, we are trying to create an entire ecosystem, to create it we must first understand it and then give it complete respect.None if this is possible without patience, so like fishing this is no hobby for itchy trigger fingers for every intended mistake causes a life to be at stake i am not trying to scare new comers, i am very new here too, but i just think given all the pleasure and beauty of this hobby, it really needs its seriousness Anyway i would like to add as beginers tend to make these mistakes 1, Research, research, research, cant emphasize it enough 2. Plan your setup and type of marine tank, that will determine your equipments and you can work out a budget 3. bro OPrime did not mention about cycling, this is very important, please read Reefing 101 Thanks You dont fail when you fall, you fail when you refuse to get up

there are so many fish foods to select from aquapharm, grotech, new life spectrum, omega one, etc I am feeding my clown and bangaii cardinal both New life spectrum for marine and Hikari brine shrimp( frozen) different fish has different feeding habits or type of food, not usually 1 type will work for all Your fishes feeding well now? Most important they must feel right and good to feed, water condition and environment is important, they need their space too
-
you need to follow bro Iskay advice and You need an established tank with all the water parameter and lighting requirement fulfilled I have a Green and purple gornio in a Pico tank, my Clown fish has hosted on the Green gornio Not easy to take care of them, i read even with the right condition some gornio never makes it more than 4 months in captivity( for small tanks)

Is it a MUST to use DI/RO water for a FOWLR tank?
Rukas replied to Speedwagon's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
HI The need to have a DI water is to remove the impurities from our tap water You can use over night tap water treated with antichlorine but these solutions will remove basic chlorine elements, but may not be enough to break the chloramine bond( look for solutions that can break the bond) Water generally carries Phosphates, nitrates and silicates, if you do not filter this there is a possibility of the below 1. bacterial Outbreak 2. Algae bloom 3, Surge in element parameters These are based on what i read and concluded before i purchased my DI unit, but there are reefers who survived with tap water too Choice is yours -
Thanks to all those who quoted me Bought the pump from a nice bro Mod, Please help to close the thread

The mud is still there, just the water is drained, so i guess it should be as good as dead, ok thanks i will look at reefcentral

The last time, Ken from Madpetz gave it to me for free!

Bro all 3 quoted you already?if you ask me my opinion all 3 has some reputable feedback, will be good to compare their prices for a given spec

I am using the iq5 Skimmer for my Dymax iq5 average performance, but unstable water level effects the skimming for IQ5
-
DI/RO = Distilled and Reverse osmosis water You can get a filter to produce this or purchase this as there are many drinking water that has completed the process
-
Yes that is true, the brother does the cabinet
