It depends on what species of anemone you are keeping. Some need strong light while others don't. But general behavior of anemones are they will move around in your tank to find the right spot. Whatever spot they anchor in, will be the ideal spot for them in terms of light and current flow. You might want to read up more on the anemone species you intend to keep and you will know if your light set is sufficient.

Hello, Is my hammer bleaching? I'm using LED, approx 10k spectrum. It was under direct light, have moved it away but quite near to the surface. Any chances of it recovering its color? I'm also doing a hypo to combat ich. Could that contribute to its bleaching? Thanks

I read about it too, so far I've seen my fren's gonio doing well in his tank for coming a yr or more...and his tank's nitrate is off the charts. I got mine after seeing his...Got mine for roughly 2months now, its starting to look well..water change and feed regularly, not only good for Gonio, but for fishes too...don over feed thou...and I don't think Gonio should be considered for newbie..

I experience similar issue, moved my ST gonio from rock to sand bed, found out not suitable and move back to original place, fully open at 1st, but suddenly not fully extended as usual for past 2 days. Spot has good light and mod flow...any advises? Thanks
