Don think there a sure fire way to prevent anemones from roaming. once it finds the "SPOT" it will not surely stay there for long. I have 3 anemones, one floated into a blower, the other 2 just moved to another spot.
-
Able to see it? Able to use your hands to catch hold of it? Or worst case, take out the rock where it is and try to remove it in a QT?
-
Bleached anemones can recover, but takes a long time. Thats provided if reefer can provide it needs. Very tricker animal, but once settled down, it can be an interested addition to the aquarium. As for dyed ones, well, it has all the signs telling you it's not natural, but it's really up to individual. There is always risk with anemones.

It depends on what clownfish you are getting. Like Iskay mentioned, different clown differnt anemone. The challange is the anemone, not the clown. You have to decide which anemone is suitable for your level of care. And are you comfortable with it roaming around, cos they tent to do so very often. Research more on anemones. Clown fishes and anemones can survive without each other, so that's a plus.

If recovers, can try to put it back into the main tank provided it's not being bullied. Have to observe to determine.. -

could be something else you might not know that's hiding in your tank. Try searching around your tank at night with a torch light. You be surprise to what you can find. -

I usually empty the cup once a week. Sometimes skimmer goes crazy, then i'll clear when it's half full..

This is a good and informative read. Thanks for sharing -
Maintaining water level is actually quite important to the performance of the skimmer. Ur user manual should have indicated the recommended level.

MARINE ICH ATTACK! HELP!
Cherlolo replied to staromsa's topic in Disease treatment/parasite/pest control
If you already have a QT, y not use cheaper meds like paraguard, or meth blue? Octozin is quite expensive for QT isn't it? A blue note for the big bottle, and as part of the treatment, hypo is required. I wonder which is the process that solves the ich problem, the meds or hypo? Haha...
