Hi All, Have a custom built Twin FR for sale. Each FR comes with internal chambers (see pics). So no need to remove entire unit for cleaning and refill. Just remove the internal chambers will do. Each side comes with its own valve to control flow, so u can use both at the same time or just one side if you want. Also, there's an orange valve in the middle which I think (pls correct me if I'm wrong) allows it to be used as a sulphur reactor too. 1 tiny crack (been glued back) but is just cosmetic and will not affect performance at all O rings may need to be changed though. Going for $150.

My butterfly fish's lower lip seems to have something growing from it. makes it look like it's sticking out its tongue. Any idea if this is a disease? Or could it be an injury to the mouth?

Hi all, For a FOWLR tank, I 've been told that its good to keep salinity below 1.020. Can I find out if anyone out there is doing this and how its going? Also, how low should I go? thanks!

I think its impt to qt all fish even from fellow reefers. I learnt the hard way. Once I bought some clowns from a fellow reefer (they looked perfectly healthy btw), and put into main tank. 4 days later, all my banner fish got hit with ich. Another time, i bought 6 fish from a lfs and put into my main tank. In the end 5 survived (1 KO due to stress) but........for the next 3-4 days, had to keep clearing corpses every morning.I lost about 15 of my long time residents due to bacteria infection. I think sometimes, the fish we bring back are carriers - they may have developed resistance to a particular strain of disease, but our own resident fish may be vulnerable.
