if there is a desperate need to keep alage at bay .. strongly recomment snail .. especially astrea snail ... disclaimer - nano/pico tank 50L lately got an outbreak of alage on the liverocks ... bought 3 astrea snails and they help to clean up within a week .. also bought 2 hermit crabs they are with me for 5 weeks liao... 1 astrea died.. but is normal ba over the past 1 month, the hermit did not harm the snails but for astrea do keep a look out if they overturn.. quickly right them yesterday at AM... lotsa of astrea snails ...
