  2. acrylic should be able to take the heat ba how come will short circuit? there must be a point along the strip to allow attach

  4. hi reckless, can I know the DC adapter that you are using for the led strip? or what is the requirement? how many volt and current? is 12V / 1.2A sufficient? Thanks

  6. the heat produce by the led should not be a problem for PVC rod ba.. else use PVC trunking can? i was thinking of using acrylic or wood strip ... so it could be dangerous? brass strip ok? brass good for dissipating heat?
  7. use cable-tie or wire to tie it to the bar for double protection if dont mind a bit ugly that is what i plan to do.. safety first

  11. the led strip from SLT looks good pure/cool white likely should be 6000-10k saw "10000" printed on the led reel but not sure refer to life span or color anyway good price can give a try
  12. the dealextreme's high power 950lm led emitter metal strip has 2 ends with +/- how to connect to the DC adapter? connect any one end will do?

Can I know the color temperature of the pure white LED from that shop you bought from...and also for the blue color, just tell them blue led?? possible to give the break down of the cost? So the best bang for the buck is to get from simlim tower or dealextreme? which product? and what color temperate and power rating?

  17. 4' tube is 6500k and above? is definitely great saving to get from SLT just that they rarely have those high K tubes anyway household 40W circular tube also has 6500k or 6700k from philips or osram

  19. can share where did you get your 3w led? but even if can get the 6500k led bulb, still need to get the blue led which the electrical store may not have

  23. saw many "downlight" or spotlight at the electrical stores ... also can fit into E27 the white light looks rather white.. no tint of yellowish so might be above 6000k too bad the owner unable to give me the actual color temperature. any idea can these off the shelf led light use for marine? typically what K is the white?
  24. Can advise what is the specs of this aqua zonic sirus led? e.g. intensity (lux? equal how many T5?) , number of white and blue led, color temperature, power rating how do you find it so far? good enough for your LPS? $60 good price leh oh, where did you get it?
