  1. Awesome! I like your 2 big clusters of golden cloves! Can share your secrets of success: 1) which brand of seasalt? 2) do you feed your lps? If yes, which coral food? 3) do you dose any supplements? 4) how often you do water change? 5) what is your lighting routine? 6) how do you handle no3 and po4 export if any? 7) any others... Thanks in advance!!! Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  5. Just leave the eggs there and let them hatch lor. I just ignore some other snail eggs in my tank and now I have an army of small snails now. They all come out to graze the algae at night. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  9. My own experience does not mean will work for everyone. But sharing is no harm. I used tap water since day 1 for my soft and LPS tank. Also dosed anti chlorine and use a cheap wave maker to mix the salt mix. This is done usually one day before the water change day. So far so good for the last 8 months. Just minor algae growth which I think is because of the daily feeding routine which comprises 4 cubes of mysis and pellets. Only nutrient export option used is a 24 by 7 hr Chaeto based refugium. Also have a strong team of about 50 snails which every night graze the algae. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  12. BJD is a sickening headache... Infecting my hammers one by one. Tried seachem reef dip plus freshwater dip also no use. Read online about the hydrogen peroxide treatment for whole tank and few had success to kill off the pathogens.... Dare not try... Thats why asking if someone here had tried it... 13. Honestly, I have no proven success either. If I were you, I will place it at spots without strong lights and wave movement. Just continue to feed once a day with rotifers and wait. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  14. My suggestion is to transfer it into a float bowl or fish trap box and nurse it back to health. I had a similar situation and it floated into my wave maker when I was at work. It killed itself in the wm and my tank was cloudy and had a smell. I had a hard time with the massive water change after that. Luckily no casualty with the other livestock in the DT.
