  1. Any one tried their hands on setting up with a 2ft Nisso Curve Front Tank ? I'm concern with whether this tank is able withstand the water density and pressure.
  2. you can check with the hardware shop at serangoon north block 151 just facing the community centre and inbtwn the coffeeshop and the bird shop.
  3. Looking for LumenAqua 200 on a pretty tight budget. Please pm me your price, age of set & location. Thanks!
  4. You might wanna try having a black out period. Had a similar problem few weeks back until i accidentally had a black out period of 2 days due to the timer fault. Prior to it, it was spreading out due to my ignorance of scrubbing it away. The black out period kind of turned the red slime into dark brown colouration and my turbo snails started to munch the area clean.
  5. no space for skimmer ? unless you're planning to remove the whole hood or saw off part of the hood. not sure if there is a nano skimmer for 24g but think i've come across one for 28g. another thing is the PL tube thats comes with it increases water temp. imo the fan is pretty redundant.
  6. one thing i noticed about turbo snails being stucked in one place is they could be constantly being harass by other tankmates such as hermit crabs.
  7. sry man, bro aquamike dropped me a pm first. pending to deal this coming wed. willy notify you if there is any changes.
  8. Have 2 Blue legged hermit crabs up for exchange with 2 cans of Redbull. both are healthy and have been with me since June. wanna reduce bioload and make way for other fishes. collection at Paya Lebar Crescent. Near to AM. Please pm me with no.
  9. thanks for your input. infact without frequent water change my surviving zoas, torch coral and brain coral are opening up pretty well alongside with coraline algae appearing. actually wanted to try without WC and see how it goes but guess its too high a price to pay.
  10. thanks for the advice. i'm currently looking into modifying my JBJ 24g to fit in a nano skimmer at the very least. any bros here manage to keep their tank supplements/additives free ?
  11. noted thanks ! prior to using the buffer my ph was abt 7.8 - 7.9 the highest. any recommended ways of increasing without affecting the dkh ?
  12. oh yes thanks guys ! did a readup & found out its due to the ph buffer i'm using. however i would like to knw what can be done to achieve the recommended ph ? and after stabilizing my water parameters what kind of additives/supplement would you guys recommend ?
  13. hey Ukiya As of today, Ph 8.3 Salinity 1.024 Ammonia 0 mg/l Nitrite NO2- <0.3mg/l Nitrate NO3- 25mg/l KH - 13ºdgH/kH 232.7ppm gH/kH Calcium 460ppm
  14. Guys, need some advice and help on what are the necessary additives required for my tank (skimmerless, water change every 2-3wks. Water parameters have been all along at acceptable range tested every wk I began stocking up corals slowly 1 wk after it has been cycled for 1 month plus. Corals include torch coral, hammer coral, brain coral, some zoas and plate coral (Feeding them with liquid plankton and light (pls correct me if i'm wrong)) LS includes 2 blue legged hermit crabs, 2 peppermint shrimps & 3 turbo snails. Until the day before, the torch coral started to decompose with plate corals developing white streaks and meanwhile the torch coral, zoas (not all is opened yet) and brain coral are doing fine. My only dose is Seachem Reef Trace and Reef Plus. What else do i need ? or could the dying corals be due to other factors ? Many thanks in advance!
  15. Jireh Marine ? depending on size $5 -$7.
  16. Selling the above for $20 or trade (zoa, mushrooms, Hydor Nano 900/l, Solite 1W Led Light) Location: Paya Lebar Crescent Sms 96421590

  18. would any wrasse do the same job ? saw a few eye catching ones. do gobies eat it as well ?
  19. yayy did a research on all the worms and found the nearest match is copepods. but butterfly copperband will be too bug fo my 24g. was thinking of getting a mandarin goby but not sure if the pods will be able to substantiate it's diet in such a small setup
  20. nah its not. did an image search. the worms are too tiny my cheapo cam cant capture it but its jumping ard on the wall.
