buy both TECO and artica....just kidding My personal choice is TECO bec of its look. Both TECO & Artica is competative (I have used both before). The new TECO is cheaper mainly due to assemble in China.

Upzzz your sales...... however, just to comments on the new theory which i doubt it can work efficiently. kelstorm comments is more valid. Imagine air is made up of many molecules, thus is easier to suck out these air molecules than compressing it i.e. forcing it out.

personally i'm quite doubtful. after watching years of marine documentary, did'nt notice any of it., though most rare species are capture in that documentary.

what's your tank volume? For me, I will normally size my chiller capacity bigger than what the volume is required. Reason is obvious........running long term will avoid spending $ on electricity as well as it chill down the temp real fast as compare to smaller capacity. Now, come to your qn. I think both chiller r equally good in performance. But if you go for look and build esp if u place it outside the cabinet, then I would say TR20. If look is not important, then either one will do. But make sure you size your chiller correctly. The technical specification is always multiply by certain factor. so try to account (say 15%) from your actual volume when you size it. A quick update. So far my chiller is as good as new. Total no. of cut in is estimated to be 5 to 8 (by gut feel). No time to actually count it. May be one take on leave then I will count it.

i feed everyday but in small amount. so far so good for 6 mths already. my red prata also start to heal naturally. it was a skeleton with some fresh but now can see the fresh start to bond.

i'm using pinpoint for PH, ORP, temperature and calcium. Generally, I'm happy with the accuracy. I compared the results by manual test kits. The results though not the same but it give a variance of about 5 to 10% which is acceptable to me.

agreed with jervismun suggestion. I had a similar problem too but my case is overdose. My KH went rocket high to 20 dkh. quickly did a water change after listening to Henry's advise and the whole event lasted 4 days before everything go back to normal. The PH went down to 7.5 and lasted for 3 days and I was struggling to bring the KH down. Finally, I managed to control it by having the right ionic balance as advised by Henry. The rule of thumb is 3 part of magnesium to 1 part of calsium. With this right proportion, your KH & PH will fall into the right zone i.e. 9dkh and 8.2 respectively. so try not to rush and think wat's the root cause. getting additive only solve your problem short term.
