selling this at only 140. Reason selling: due to upgrading of tank size and equipment. PM me if interested. some info on this product: "The Prizm Skimmers consist of 4 basic components: Main Body, Collection Cup, Inlet Pipe and Pump. It is designed to either hang-on the aquarium or to be installed next to or inside a sump as the motor is fully submersible. The Prizm Pro combines an efficient 18-blade TurboJet injector together with Red Sea`s Patented convergent-divergent flow technology Reaction Chamber. Water and air are drawn into the skimmer through the Inlet Pipe by the 18 blade TurboJet impellor, which has been designed to generate the optimum ratio between the water/air flow rates, producing a constant stream of superfine air bubbles in a homogenous air/water mixture. The unique reaction chamber is divided into 2 compartments consisting of a convergent upward flow first stage, followed by a divergent downward flow second stage. The decreasing cross-sectional area of the convergent first stage, causes great turbulence and extended contact time between the air bubbles and water. The increasing cross-sectional area of the divergent second stage causes the air bubbles to flow both co and counter current before arriving to the water surface. The combined action of the 2 compartments creates a protein loaded, stable foam at the throat of the skimmer, positively pushing dry foam up into the collection cup.The bubble-trap under the reaction chamber redirects any escaping air bubbles ensuring that bubble free water is returned to the aquarium via the cascade. In addition, the bubble-trap acts as a Mechanical filter by trapping small particulate matter not removed by the foam, thus keeping it out of the aquarium." - extracted from http://www.aquatichouse.com The picture here is for illustration only. Feel free to visit my place to look at actual performance.

hi, is my pleasure to ans your queries to my best knowledge. 1. Whats the length of time the chiller is at rest before kicking in again? <<didn't measure this. I find it very subjective i.e. this will have to depend how well your tank is insulated or how well you prevent heat loss to the environment (for chilling, is how well you prevent conduction and convection take place). For insulation, many ways we can do it. By thicker glass, double layer glass, or insulated with stylerfoam (i think wrong spelling) etc etc and also insulated tube, where you place your chiller (near the wall, open, etc etc). Hope this ans your query to this.>> 2. How is the current chiller configured (ie. where's the input and is the output direct to the main tank?) <<I placed the chiller return hose directly to the main tank return pump inlet i.e. the outlet is to the main tank>>.

I used to operate the old teco too. I totally agreed with you that the old teco chiller take about an hour plus to do its job(with light on or off). However, if you tear down both chiller to compare side by side, you will know many differences such as shorter air path from inlet to outlet, 2 fans, titanium coil with enhance routing, etc etc. That's why I give 2 thumps up for this new TECO design. Anyway, i would say the choice is yours. If you like old teco, artica, or whatever brands, etc....Go for it as long as you like the form, fit and function of the chiller. Bottonline, the money you spent on make it worth.

hi, finally kit up the Galaxy Black MH 3 days ago. Taken few test based on MH 150W x 2 operated for at least 3 hours. The result is much better than i have extrapolated. here is the final results: with MH (150W x 2) - on average 25 mins to chill down 1.5 deg C with T5 (39W x 4) - on average 20 to chill down 1.5 deg C without light - 10 mins to chill 1.5 deg C Hope this help you to source for chiller.

sotong....returned your PM.

upzz....but the price may be steep for 4 yrs old chiller.

Altantis, thanks for the help. I thought bigger size can let them have better clarity....ha ha. Thinking of setting up seahorse and yellow head jaw fishtank using the existing pump and 2ft T5 lights.......hmmmms.... How to hide it from my wife?

here is the pump photo. Collection at west near Boon Lay MRT. Condition of the pump can be tested till you satisfy. Price fixed at 40, non negotiable. Previous usage for this pump was a chiller circulation pump for my TECO RA200 which was sold recently. So far received many PM but NO confirmation. Thus this pump still available.

sorry. couldn't kit up the Galaxy Black MH last night due to wrong dimension. Don't think I will kit up in soon. To conclude: with T5 (39W x 4) - 20 to 25 mins to chill 1.5 deg C without light - 10 to 15 mins to chill 1.5 deg C Based on these results, I extrapolate or give a close bet that with MH (150W x 2), it will probably take 50 mins to chill 1.5 deg C. Thanks for reading

replied u. Price negotiatiable. The reason I'm selling is, I'm not using it and find it a waste to keep in my cabinet.

thanks. No point keeping in the cabinet. So sell away better.
