  1. nice dog, care to tell me more about the AtO?
  2. crowded but nice. Good job with the cooling fans but the dymax led looks quite weird...
  3. For sale: AOI(2polyp) $8 Brown zoas, $5 each brown zoa 1 brown zoa 2 Brown zoa 3 brown zoa 4 Brown zoa 5
  4. Thanks man, you got some good stuff too.
  5. I have some common zoas for sale as well, 5 frags available, $5 per frag. Each frag has over 10 polyps, some polyps are brown and some have a white or green centre, tentacles are brown.
  6. im just saying, what works for me may not work for other people...no offence taken...2X24 seems little i acknowledge that but it works for me. Back to the topic, u can choose to keep sps in this tank if u want, provided you gain some experience first with easier corals.
  7. i keep sps under 2X24 watts...but watts is not a good estimate. Par and lumens are better but PAR is kinda hard to measure unless you already own a PAR meter or you are willing to buy one. The 3-4 watts guide never helped me...lps is supposingly easier than sps, probably because they are hardier...but sps isnt that hard. HAHA...that fixture is really worth the money, would have gotten it instead of an aquazonic fixture...the cooling fans and the individual reflectors are a real plus. T5 is still one of the cheapest alternative around, unless your thinking of metal halide or LED...lol If u plan to use T5, the bulbs u use really make a dif...the qian hu one sucks...i prefer the arcadia one.
  8. u can use an external pump...like the hydor seltz.
  9. all chillers have very adverse effects on the electricity bill...will it shorten the lifespan...that one i dunno...
  10. Price revision AOI: $10 Paly: $10 Zoa 2: $8 Buy all for $25
  11. its probably the thermostat. Lets say i set mine at 27 degrees. When the temp reaches 28 degrees, it kicks in, when the temp drop to 27, it kicks out...
  12. ay...i agree with tunicate...2X24...is enough for me to keep sps in my 2feet. Many will say its insufficient but it works for me, although i recommend getting a solite 4x24...u can find the link here..the solite fixture is quite cheap n it comes with exhaust fans and individual reflectors. Sg climate very hot, its good to get a fan or chiller...anything above 30d will be too hot for your fish...Two times the flow rate=better
  13. im using a hailea 100a chiller...both resun n hailea about the same quality...
  14. I've been using this product for a quarter of a month now..been noticing quite good growth in my corals. Any one else use this product? Feel free to comment on other similar products too. I've also been thinking of using the sps coral growth from marc weiss...anyone has any experience with it?
  15. Do any of your mix garlic with the paste or include other sorts of food...please share.
  16. if i had the money, i would always opt for an ice probe. But is not gonna be cheap and it'll take up space. A cheaper method to ato is drip system
  17. nice links...i think will be getting mine today, cant wait to try it out
  18. Anyone has any opinion on this product?
  19. A protein skimmer is very helpful...u may want to consider a deltec mce 600? Its silent to me...if its too expensive why not get a prizm. The prizm is quite noisy but u can reduce the amount of noice but attaching the air tubing to plug on the lid of the skimmer cup
