i reccomend 1.025 cuz me, my corals and fishes love it that way. 1.018 is really low...as in seriously, go put more salt in
LOL....u dont need all of those dude. I wouldnt even reccomend that for beginners. If say u overdose, without test kits measuring all those stuff that you're adding, its dangerous. So just stay to the two part dosing method, it works well if you're just keeping a nano. I believe that all those should only be used if u want to have a tight control over your parameters. Getting all those is also quite ex. Or if you know how to, get chemicals like Calcium chloride, magnesium chloride.......but thats when you have the experience.
For test kits, i can think of many right now.
1:Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.
2:Calcium, magnesium and strontium
3: carbonate hardness To test for KH
4:iodine(dont really need one)
Why not get crystal pro from aquamarin or ZERO from madpetz? I think u can get the simple DI one for less than $100. Heard good reviews of them too.
What kind of food u need?
For fish: Get pellets, flakes or henry reef gourmet. I'm using henry reef gourmet as my staple.
For corals: 5-in one coral food....actually there are MANY types of coral food, but i'm using 5in one from aquapharm.
