Decided to decom my tank due to recent addition committment (aka kids) Due to busy work schedule, will slowing decom my tank. This is interesting. I keep my SPS at kH of about 8~9dkh. But previously it always drops to 6~7dkh. Am now using 2 part system from TLF. Notice that my kh are more stable at 8~9 dkh but also notice some burn tips on some of my SPS. Am running PO4x4 and biopellets. Any explaination on why is this so?

Eheim canister is the way to go! Had one in the early 90s, stored it for 10+ years and bought it out to use few years back before selling it away, only thing I need to change was the O-ring!. As for chillers, can consider Hailea if on budget. However, problem with Hailea chillers is that the onboard temp probe not very accurate. I ended up DIY my own external temp probe for under $100. The other question here is do you want to run both the canister and chiller as 2 seperate system loop? Or do you wanna consider connecting them in series, aka, use the canister to pump water back into your tank. Pros and Cons doing so. Pros is you save power and heat load due to not using feed pump for your chiller. Cons is that when the canister connection break, need to siphon again. Also there's a danger of single point of failure for both parameters.

Bristleworm. Some might say it's a pest but my personnal take is that it's a good clean up crew. Have a few small ones in my tank too.

Erm, using a smaller pail seems to be the logical thing to do. But sometimes, even using smaller pail also not enough. When that happens, I usually tilt the pail to one side to ensure that the fishes have enough depth to at least not expose any part of their body to air.

Thanks for pointing that out. I need some calrifications from experts here if you can. The BN in question their polys are green in colour with yellow/turquoise base. It is similar to another frag which I bought from Cedric which told me is Radioactive Green. It could be due my lousy photo skills that could not bring out the colour in the previous photos. please find attached below some pics of the same colony taken in apr this year where the frags are harvested from. And I believed the turquoise yellow BN that you talk about is as shown below. Also from my tank.
