Nice.. I will stay with it. If you are keeping full sps then no issue. And i also like the high amount of flow. when I feed, the food will usually flow around the whole tank and into the overflow.

Whats your tank size?
-
dom07: thanks bro. beja: Actually, quite strong even at the lowest setting w1 s3. You can see the sand on the left side all blown away. The clown fish has also been staying there and swimming against the current and they only move around during feeding time. Admiraltian: ya bro, hope the sps can survive.

What happened bro? For me, I will do a 50% water change immediately.

And lastly, an Aussie acan from Iwarna frag room. Temperature: 28degrees KH: 8.6 with salifert Food: NLS Thera +A, Cyclopeeze, Oyster Feast, Polyplab Polyp booster, Frozen Brine and Mysis shrimp.

Bro, your filter sock is above the glass wall and need to becareful because once choke, the water will overflow from the top. Make sure it is not close to the glass wall to prevent spillage.

Hi bro, welcome here. I am also quite new to this hobby and was running a planted tank since last year dec. Learnt and gain alot of experience from aquatic quotient! If you are looking for a quiet reef setup, I will recommend you look into the durso piping for the overflow. The durso piping will eliminate the sucking sound when water flow down into the sump. After the overflow and down into the drain pipe, ensure that the drain pipe is below the water surface and you will have minimum noise. Basically only the sound of bubbles. As for the skimmer, you can try the bubble magus curve series which is very silent. You will only hear it if you open your tank cabinet door. For the return pump, the eheim 1250 that I am using produces a vibrating sound which cannot be heard when sitting about 2m away.

Does it come with holder or any photo of the holder?

jebao wp25 too strong for 3 ft tank?
kohanson replied to Teh Soon Seng's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
Bro, you can try using W1 S3 which is the lowest setting or get a lower voltage adaptor. But I think the WP25 should not be an issue for 3ft tank. -
I am using the bubble magus magnet scraper for algae on my glass. It comes with both plastic and stainless steel blade. For tough algae, I will recommend used credit cards which is quite effective.

jebao wp25 too strong for 3 ft tank?
kohanson replied to Teh Soon Seng's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
Bro, should be enough for your 3ft FOWLR. I am using it for my 42cm cube at W1 S3 and my Hammer and GSP coral are swaying. -
How many times do you feed your fishes daily?
kohanson replied to pokmingsheng's topic in FOWLR (Fish-only with Live-rock)
I feed once a day in the evening. Only on weekends I will feed additional with either frozen brine shrimp or Mysis shrimp. -
if its dead, the skeleton will be very clean white and there will be no polyps and skin on the skeleton. Mine has turn white and covered in brown algae.
-
Mine comes with 24V, bought from Seaview.

Just went Aquamarin, a few more new clams! Including 1 maxima, which is too big for my tank. Probably around 5 inch.

Cloudy water during cycling
kohanson replied to Kamarudin Ariffin's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
I thought that was a real jellyfish until I went to the last page. Haha. You are really very patient to wait 2 months for the tank to cycle. Thumbs up! -
Saw crocea at aquamarin on Wed. You might want to call and check with them.
