Waited for too long and i am wondering as my friend (BS, you know who?) just said to me... 1. Where is the action plan? 2. Where are the disclosure of multinicks, flamers, troublemakers, spammers, etc... except onlookers and movie watchers? Hope that it would not only come here for a few days and then went MIA for a few months and comeback again when things went out of hand ... if you know what i mean. No insults... please.. just for a concrete discussion...here.. Before popcorns turn soft... better switch to peanuts.

Nope... i disagree.. If you look carefully on the 2nd picture, the body of the reaction chamber is dirty. It is because it is unreachable. How do you explain that? Issit it no daylight too if it is what you said? Even without daylight, the body is should also be fithy. Except no green algae. Impossible to have the cup full and without any dirt in the skimmer body. If you place your skimmer inside your cupboard, when the collection cup is this full, your skimmer body will also look dirty. You can try and if you can wait this long.

And this one too... body is dirty.. IMO, you can get such skimmate if you didnt clean your skimmer regularly including the body (about more than 10days) I will also be able to get such skimmate, only thing that the body of this skimmer will be very dirty.

This is what it should be... if you notice the different on the body of the BK.

Hmm... hope you can speak to him to visit this forum what i have said. This is another picture that i think it doesnt make sense. The skimmer body is too clean to collect such skimmate.

Bubble King is a good skimmer, as i do own 1. it can skim hell from your tank. But this picture...... Sure is like drawing a snake with 4 legs. Dont even know what is the water they skim? Sewage??? Unless they show the tank with the BK in it. I dont find any purpose on using this top grade skimmer in sewage water? I hope they can address this as its giving false impression on potential buyers.

Have to say it is a good product.. The length of the wire between the LED can be customised.. Just put yout request, they will do for you. Best is their customer service is good.

Come to think of it, that was the time that all those passions shown inspired me to take up challenge and cheonging corals and fishes. Having said that, it is also this forum that generates interests and thus created market for LFS. I still remembered that reefers posted pictures of AT, then suddenly, demand went up in the market. Same as blastos, cynarinas, plata, etc. These are such that generate interests and demand, and also good for LFS too.

Just leave it. Nothing you can do except checking your water parameters to make sure you get it correct. Hopefully it can recover but chances are slim. Be prepared.

I remember last time this hobby is about passion, invention and obsession. Seen lots of DIY stuff and the way we shared those info on DIY reactors, skimmers and stuff like these. Fishes and corals are all new to us and info are not easily found from the internet, thus makes sharing vital. Now all are easily available from the market. I still remembered, searching for LFS in S'pore that deal with marine. A zap from yellow pages and off i went in search of corals and fishes.

Yes, twice monthly 10% water change is bare minimum for normal tank. Remember, with top notch equipment doesnt means you can slack behind your good reefing husbandry. For me i do a 3-5% water change weekly which is best i can accomodate.

Are you using ozone in the 1st place?
