Actually this forum can be salvage. More time needed to monitor and keep clowns away. It just that everytime, he came in and said about this and that, then he disappeared for 2-3 months. Coincidently, you will find afew troublemakers in between. If only for some occasional laugh or popcorn session, it doesnt matter, but for opportunitists and exploiters like the nuisance here, it not only wasting band width and also degrade this forum. Btw, he has suceeded in getting every attention he needs.

Ur right..but only to a certain extent...a forum administrator cannot be held liable for every single incident that takes place in this place. There are guidelines posted and at the end of the day, it is the buyer and sellers responsibility to safeguard themselves from harm (ie being cheated etc...) It's absurd to go blaming an administrator for all the problems that arise on this forum. It's like going to a pub and having your hp get stolen, then going to the bar owner and blaming him for it or complaining that more was not done to have prevented it from happening. We are all grown ups here (with the except of a few minors), and we've all been duped at some point in our lives...take it as a lesson and be mindful in the future...and for goodness sakes...be mature enough about it to not look for someone to blame for ones own misfortune. Now i'm not saying that the mods and admin shouldnt do anything at all, of course they should help, but they cant be expected to know about EVERYTHING that goes on in ths dang forum, EVERY second of the time. Anyways...no hard feelings on my post and i hope i haven't offended you or anyone else.

This sounds familiar and constructive. But forum involves the public and Admin has to be responsible. Even so cheating cases happened before. Nothing has been done. I am not here to teach him how to run a forum or rather cannot bear to see the public get exploited. Most MH glass do have glass and they are mostly tempered. But i dont think they are UV coated. Not all MH glass comes with UV coated. If my memory serve me well, previous BLV packaging comes with fully blue box unlike now with some colours. Previous box stated UV protected coat. Now i cant find it stated in the new box. Hope i am right.

I realised the new batch has problem. Probably lack of UV coat. It has nothing to do with shifting up for acclimatizing the new lights, as i have been changing it with 10k, 20k and 14k without much hazzle. No issues then until now. These new batch sure warrant concerns for those BLV users. There are many reefers that i came to know are having the same problem. Most of my montipora burnt and died. I threw many away, and furthermore, some acros tips are burnt. Now i revert to Hamilton 14K which is better although par value is not as high as BLV but at least now my sps are recovering. Cheers.

Ever heard the reef kopi sessions that bring wisdom not only on reefing but also discussions on reefing communities as well.

Your noble intention is astounding, yet unlikely to succeed. Since you are and I presume you are new to this hobby, I shall take the liberty to highlight that there are many methods to create awareness or so called ‘Save the World’ campaign. There are so many organizations, like REEF, WWF and ICR just to name a few to save the coral reef which is sad to say that are destroy or will be completely destroy by man direct or indirectly. Why take the trouble to set up a reef tank and have people adopt fishes to be kept by you? Of course, your righteous quest is unquestionable but you may invite uncalled condemnation and criticism. By the way, you may need register with the authorities if any money is involve, I think. Anyway, good luck to your undertaking.

How much u will pay for angels that size? Blue face? Queen? Regal? All are at least 6inch big.

Adopt fishes? Especially marine fishes??? Why dont stop this hobby and save the reef.

Hmm... i have to agreed with AT. What royalty? If during bad times, they can retrench u given the fact that you work for them 10years. So what loyalty? Provided they too can be loyal to the employee. There is always a greener pasture.

Actually what was said is true... Some sponsors i believed already no longer a sponsor. But they are still in listed here as sponsors. Like some recent cases of ordering online by reefers from other countries and never delivered. He has to come here to get some responses and help from other local reefers. IMO, this is uncalled for if the mods have update the sponsors advert and list.
