I read in forum via reefers experience that the survival rate of this fish is low. Eh ..... maybe you should reconsider & go for other species that will thrive better. All the best !!!

Eh.... Can I say something? STOP !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since you haven't start ...... you may wanna STOP first. Get a Bigger tank and Start ... Because you will surely want to change to a bigger tank soon ... pretty soon. Might as well skip this step and go direct to bigger tank. LOL .....

I am trying to Record it. But it always sound off at unexpected timing. I cannot be sitting in front of my tank whole day to tape the sound .. If I have a chance, I would love to tape it and down load into YOu Tube .

Yes.. My Blue Face Roars at my Emperor but my Emperor 'Bo Chap'... My Emperor is still the Big Boss of my tank despite the same size as my Blue Face.

I just want to share on my experience and see anyone here has the same situation. My Emperor is with me for close to 1 year. It is one of the most daring fish in my tank. As the day passes by, it grew and he is one of the largest fish in my humble 4 FT tank. Few months back, my family & I always hear a funny sound. It resembles a LOUD movement of Wood in Motion. I got puzzled and worried. In the end, I found out that it is my Emperor and he GRUNTS. I guess it is due to being territorial issue. Whenever my Blue Face Angel goes near to his resting place, he Grunts very very Loud. It shocked us initially because we thought there is an Earth Quake in the Tank ... LOL Whenever I threw pellets into the tank, he may Grunt so that the rest of my Fishes swam to hide and he can take the first bite of the Food. It is simply amazing that such a 5 inch Emperor can produce such a loud grunt. I guess my tank maybe too small for his comfort already. Anybody has Emperor or other Fishes that Grunts SO Loud in tank also ? By the way, my Blue Face Grunts very loud too ... but not as often as my Emperor.

Also, due to space constraint..... 622 might not be practical for some. IN return, have to build 'Vertical' than 'Horizontal' .. Just like Singapore. I would like to have 622 next time .. Would be Nice. !

I love this Topic. Very realistic and USeful. I used to have that doubt too .. Both for Marine & Rachu Tank. I guess Most Fishes swims from Left to Right, not Top to Bottom. I also think that 622 should be a better choice ...

I have also been considering CHromis for the longest time. I tried to search yOU Tube for School of Chromis BUT most of them are only a handful in a tank. Wouldn't it be nice if we can have about 20 Chromis in a Tank... But I find no Video on this. Brought my Wife to LFS and asked her if Chromis is nice. Each time, only 5 - 6 in a tank ..... Doesn't seem to produce that 'WOW' effect on Schooling ... So she said "So So lor ....."

Very Nice but Not much tank once they grow ...

Foxface is among one of the Fishes I had during my initial set up of tank. I have a pair. Strong, Bold and Easy to Maintain. Fast Swimmer. Changes colour during hiding or Sleeping. The only problem I face: They grow BIG very fast. So I have to give away. Please take note of your tank size.
