From what I know, the rate of temperature change increase with the difference in temperature. So for an ambient temperature of say 30, the tank will heat up faster from 25 to 27 faster than 26 to 28.
Hi,
If the lighting is not too heavy, you can use butterfly plug to hold it. Can get from any hardware shop.

Hi bro,
Amox is definitely a faster and more effective method. However, if the low nutrient way does work for you, it can be quite enjoyable seeing this nasty stuff dying before you as the day goes by. Sound sadistic huh... lol...
Hi…
Just to share what I did when my tank got problem with red slime few weeks back. After doing the following, the red slime is virtually gone.
1. Switch to DI water for top up and water change. Think this is the single most important factor in preventing red slime.
2. Use a phosphate remover (I use seachem phosguard as it is cheap but do check the precaution on using aluminum oxide based remover).
3. Increase the pH slightly by dosing kalk.
4. Switch to manual feeding to prevent over feeding.
5. Have also tried carbon dosing but stopped after 2 days. Think I overdosed and cause ich on my blue tang.
I have notice that there is some white hair like growth on my rock. Can anyone advise what are these and how can I remove them? Or any creature feed on them? Thanks.
