Yes. My top up water is RO. Without using RO, red slime will grow drastically. I normally buy nsw for my wc.

I think all are right. Changing 7 pails of water per month too drastic for my fishes. I have reduced to 2 pails per 2 weeks. Hopefully can cushion the changes.

Firstly, your anthias eat liquid food? You don't want to cone back with your tank filled with uneaten liquid food! You better try first. Can get those from Madpetz in single pack type. CAn store in room temp.
