Got some LR from a reefer, and the rocks comes with some of the corals. I am not sure what are they. Or are they dying and worth feeding?

After a night of cycling...

Would be good to make the level of water in your sump to around 8 inch for this skimmer. <<= dont understand. If this 8 inch is the water level in the sump, my skimmer is sitting in the sump without any raising. Right? I saw foam forming when i am back in office...working?

Hi all bros, I have just started my first Marine Tank... NSW from helpful and hardworking Victor from Iwarna who rushed over Sunday to change my water for me... Just got LS and LR from 2 reefers to start my tank cycling; Richie13 & Haimi *Thanks bros for giving me so much advise and tips on starting this tank. Spent hours rockscaping my first tank....it was not easy though satisfying...attached a few photos for all to advise. I have installed a 2nd hand OR Skimmer. Attached the picture. Am I right? Is the water level correct? How long should I wait to see those yellowish stuff?

Need some advise... My overflow tank water level will up to a certain level, then flow down to sump tank and rise up again. Is this right? Or should the level constant, always stay in one level? When water is flowing down to sump, when it reaches near the end, there will be a loud water emptying sound. How to reduce this sound?

I am planning my first new tank. I heard of lot of using pvc or glue to stick rocks together.. but i couldnt find a step by step dummy guide or what material to use which are save to the tank.. can someone advise?
