so far..my sea cumcumber is the most hardworking and efficient guy.
It can clean my sand bed for a 6footer clean clean within 1 week.
Still searching for another one so that to lessen its workload..8-)
Anyone can advise where to get the below and what are the rest which not in my list below?
1) sand dollar
2) sea cucumber
3) neon goby
4) fire shrimp
5) snail
However, I m still not sure how the 2 caps work.
Should I close it tight or leave them open?
I realized if tighten both, the water in the overflow will drop to the bottom n with a toilet flush sound then fill up again..
Hi Bro,
Need advise...
I got my tank from a reefer.
It comes with a side overflow compartment with 2 durso standpipe flow the water to the sump below.
Water was return with ok flow.
but the flow down to the durso pipe was very low.
one pipe dont even has any water flowing down
Why?
I played with the 2 cover on top of the tube but nothing will happen.
Whats it wrong?
Does the down flow depend on the return pump?
Previously I was using a stronger pump but its a bit noisy.
So I change to a smaller one and flow the water to the chiller and from chiller return to the main tank.
Can any bro advise me where can I buy those long feeding pump?
I wish to feed my coral directly but some were quite deep down.
I only managed to get a 10cm pump in c328.
What's the longest? Or how to DIY?
My rocks have no holes to "plant" my hammers.
So I think I will try to plant some in the sand.
By the way, I have sea cucumber and sand dollar cleaning my sand.
Will they knock down the hammers?
