hi reefers, long story cut short, i accidentally gt some seawater poured onto my maxspect 60w power supply box (the black color box thingy) while i was doing my water change last night. A few moments later there was a pop sound and the lights just went out. Suspected the fuse gt blown or something. Anyways i have pm dr evil but while awaiting for his reply mabe could get some advices on anyone who have replaced their power supply box before? or mabe anyways i could get some place to fix it asap? really worried for my tank..going to be a dark night for the inhabitants in my tank

I use NSW since i started when my nano tank. so far no issues. ive been buying them from a particular farm in the east and never had problems all these months. i guess the NSW they offer are quite clean. dunno about the other farms or lfs. anyways i assume the farms use NSW to keep their livestock too right? so if u buy the livestocks from the farm that has been contained in NSW all this while, and their livestock are all healthy, then its hard to blame the NSW for conatamination and stuff. mabe there could be other reasons to why the livestocks died. well this is just my theory. i duno if they use saltmix to keep their livestocks in the farm. correct me if im wrong coz we are all still learning. just my 2 cents

i use sea water that i buy from the fish farm. personally i think its good coz so far my small zoas, feather dusters, and livestock are doing great. mabe they survice coz they are the hardy species. lol. anyways ive been using them ever since i started my tank back in november 2010. for a start if you dunt wish to get those water purifier and mix ur own salt, you can go for the sea water option. since urs is a nano like mine, it shouldnt be too troublesome to buy a few bags of sea water once or every two weeks for water change. so far its been good for me. Btw I couldn't comment on salt coz ive yet to use them. perhaps other with prior experience could offer some views on the different brand of salts they use. anyways happy reefing!

hi guys..the whitespots have somehow disappeared by itself..its now the third day since it happened.and all the spots are completely gone..the fish is active as ever and hasn't lost its appetite so far..probably it has good immune system or something..lol..anyways i appreciate all your responses..was very helpful..probably gonna do a major water change tomorrow..

Hi guys just found put that my clownfish have started to have some white spots on its body. I only started to notice it today. What is the best way to treat this ich? Hope any experience bro could help out and guide me step by step on what are the medications needed and how to apply them. Sorry im still new to this hobby so need your advices. Pls help
