  1. bro, you got to do a serious amount of reading man! From your replies I realize that you dont really know many basic things before jumping straight into the tank. Nano fishes like their name suggest, are small fishes more suitable for your small tank. Even when you like something very much, that does not give you the right to subject the poor animal to torture in an improper environment. Most probably, you WILL kill it..... I apologize if i sounded harsh but really, you need to read up more and take things slow. You will give up reefing when you come home one day to find all your livestocks dead because of the things that you did wrong.
  2. HAhahaha, i try borrow one lah...i dont have DSLR leh.. lol
  3. bro omar, your pictures does not do justice to the true beauties of your gems! must use DSLR already wor...then pple will see the true colors!

  13. Thanks all for the input. For mandarins, i was thinking of complications should the pods population reduce, the poor fella would have nothing to eat...that's unless i buy one thats already feeding on pellets lol... @ bro allantang, i tried to catch but these buggers are fast lol...will let u know if i managed to get some. @ ketchup, hmm yellow wrasses seemed to be a good choice!
  14. thanks for the reply bro cfoh, yeah i was also thinking wrasses....considering six lines or possum wrasse actually but fear aggression towards my other fishes.... i also read that i should leave a small light on after the mains are off so that the pods would come out and the wrasse can do its work. is this a good idea?
  15. hi all, recently noticed that something has "trimmed" the skirts of some of my zoas. Prime suspect seems to be amphipods because i saw them crawling around the colony when the lights are out. I also notice that they have seemed to have increase their population recently. Question is, is there any NOCTURNAL predator i can introduce to the tank to whack them when they are most active? I currently have pair of firefish, tailspot blenny, yellow watchman goby and pink spotted watchman goby. These guys dont seem to be keen in amphipods at all. Any ideas guys? Thanks all
  16. hi reefers, i am looking for a healthy rhizo for my NPS tank. do gimme a pm or an sms at 9.23.008.27 if u have any for sale!
  17. from experience, i kept 2 tailspot before and one bugger was literally trying to rip the other's fins off. in the end i have to sell off one. but i have also seen henry's tank with 6 tailspots together with no harm. i think to be safe, just have one of them in the tank unless yours is a big tank. blennies dont like other blennies imo... hope this helps!

  21. hi there, 1. they came together as a pair. 2. the sexies live higher up in the rock works and nv venture down at all so no problem there. so far i observed that the pistol nv really venture beyond outside its burrow. i do target feed it via a long tube and drop in a pellet everyday. it does move the sand around a fair bit so i suggest that u might wanna make sure the rocks are properly anchored to the base of the tank and not on the sand. Hope it helps! feel free to PM me if u need more help!
