I second your decision to put an anemone island at that spot bro, will look amazing as long as it doesnt move. I'm thinking of getting a purple carpet anemone.

How small is your tank? If u talking about wave, the wp10 is the smallest u can go. Else using a normal power head or a tunze 6015 pointed towards the surface will be ok. If still too strong, than use use a larger return pump and you can do away with wavemakers, but wont be getting the nice wave effect.

Haha, yah bro, abit buay tahan already. I upgraded my skimmer to deltec mce600 although my BM nac was doing a good job. Now got more room for error, so i decided to take the dip with the blotchy. I got one that is already trained on pellets, so makes it little easier on the tank parameters. Hope will do fine.

Thanks all for the update. I got my blothchy Anthias. Great colour and started on pellets already. A little costly, but worth the penny.

Hi Mel i get what your trying to ask. The answer is no. A calcium reactor works by having a co2 and ph controller connected to it. The reactor serve to allow the co2 that is connected and controlled via the ph controller to break down the coral chips/ calcium media into usable calcium for the tank. The coral chip and calcium media by its own will have no benefit to the tank as it wont be broken down by co2. +1 bro ashwin, dosing calcium supplement will be easier if you dont want to run a reactor.
