Just be careful, bristleworm population can easily get out of hand, and become really unsightly, bigger ones also tend to disturb tank inhabitants at night. Personally, i wont choose them as part of cuc. But if u reckon the advantages outweigh disadvantages. Try it out and share with us your review bro.

I'm looking at it as the retail prices on the market. I.e the zeovit reactor alone is worth a fair bit for those who are familiar with kz product pricing. With regards to the price he got it for, I'm not in the position to comment. It's seller choice.

Anyone knows where to get a pinch valve similar to the picture below? I've came home twice to my CR valve being stuck, starting to make me uneasy when i leave home. Good thing i always notice it soon enough. The normal black valve has a tendency of getting air trapped.

Agreed. Hermit crabs in particular will help with scavenging. But once there is lack of food source or they had a taste of something better, than they may choose to go for corals. It's not surprising, as with any other scavengers.... Personally, I don't keep hermits in my tank as I prefer using snails over hermits. My shrimps are actually the ones that assist with the clean up of left over stuff on the sandbed. I don't feed my shrimps, so they do a good job scavenging.

They are Reef safe.... And not all crabs are bad. I have plenty in my tank. As long they don't disturb my corals. I leave them there. They actually benefit the corals.

I use newspaper with water. Newspaper for cleaning glass is magic. Dont be afraid to try, cheap and effective

Same, love how easy and effective esv is. Just that with my tank volume, it's tough to keep up with esv dosing, so made the switch to cr.

Set aside all the other important aspects....My vote goes to FM colour elements, followed by zeovit's own colour supplements and lastly grotech. Ive only tried these 3, so i cant comment on others.

At the moment, I think i'm taking it easy and just let the tank run by itself. Its been stable for awhile now, so maybe i'll just play around with some colour additives, or perhaps add a few more monti caps around the edges. No future plans yet as im pretty satisfied with using zeovit and geo calcium reactor. Just upgraded the lightset not too long ago, so hopefully that should bring some positive changes to the tank. Maybe an apex controller? Lol....but way out of the budget atm. Any suggestions guys?

Done it before. The benefits are seriously negligible. What size is your main tank by the way? U might be better off using other methods of controlling nutrients
