  1. Can control intensity (only dimmable units) and change various bulb for different spectrum.
  2. i agree, go with 4 x 2 x 1.5....u will regret doing 4 x 1.5 x 1.5 in the long run.
  3. Dont get fake rocks. Had bad experience with them. They grow algae faster than actual live rocks. Not sure if it contains high silicates or leaching phosphates, nonetheless, not a wise idea.
  4. Very beautiful Hammers! Love these LPS.
  5. Wah so cute. Not a big fan of hang on filter for marine. Might wanna consider adding on a canister as well. Or just keep minimal livestock and waterchange, Dont forget to top up evaporated water! Happy reefing.
  6. Wah bro, u open fish shop at home ah? hahaha, the mirror gives a good illusion.

  9. Nice setup bro. What sort of tank is this going to be? Softies, LPS, SPS, Fowlr? I ask cos your scaping might need to twerk abit for more room, that arch is abit too high and not many places to put LPS. Good luck, look forward to more pics =D
  10. Wow love your bubble collection bro. Seems like high quality pieces. The funny thing about bubbletip anemone is no one knows if it will maintain it "bubbletip", but yours seems to be doing v well. Can i ask where u got them?
  11. Agreed 5ppm is good enough for keeping simpler sps such as the likes of Birdnest, Montipora caps and digitatas. I try not to worry too much about no3 and po4 these days (Haven't measured for pass few months). Controlled feeding is important though, the tank ( i.e. cleaning glass more than usual) and corals it self will give u indications when stuff starts to go out of norm. Don't be afraid to try out, good husbandry is the key to success. Gd luck
  12. Yup, no problem, i used fresh water tanks for salt water set up couple of times, no issue. Especially for small sized tanks.
  13. Just an advise, try to stock slowly. Too many fish for a nano that size, esp with addition of that angel.
  14. Heard mix reviews about keeping slightly elevated levels of nitrates between 5 - 20 ppm. Its beneficial for growth, but not sure if it improves coloration of lps. Maybe others can advise.
  15. Hey guys, Thinking of starting a new project. I need some smaller to medium sized dead rocks. Please let me know if u have any to give or sell. Looking for various shapes and sizes. More porous the better. Thank you. If can't find any, might probably just get from LFS. Pm me if u got some, best if >3 pieces cos traveling around can be a pain. Cheers!

  18. My vote goes to pink lemonade acropora!
  19. Good pricing in my opinion for those keen on trying out or setting up a nano. So many things included for start up.
