  7. Can try Ah beng, Iwarna at Pasir Ris Farmway and CoralFarm at Lim chu kang
  8. For me, recently I fed too much ended up having 100mg/l Nitrate but I have no algae problems and my sand bed surface is sparkling clean! Having 1 x monstrous sea cucumber and 2 x sandstar works wonders
  9. Have you actually tested your Nitrate level with test kit yet? Or maybe you can try adding sandstar to clean the bed?
  10. What water source did you use for the water change?
  11. Where did you get that tube anemone? Waiting for ah beng's shipment every week hoping to get one

  13. How you know it's dying? My tubeworm drop it's head when I accidentally dose KH till 13 -.- But it grew back fully and even bigger in just less than 2 months. Don't really need to feed them anything maybe you can try coral food.
  14. Yea why not? Got this idea from someone who always dump water on the bamboos when he's changing water. I also use the used carbon from my sump on the plants as fertilizer. Everything is Eco and nothing is wasted!
  15. There's a range humans are unable to feel it. Minimum for human to feel the current is 1mA. Interesting information! Will be checking if there's any stray current as I have two pin appliances too.
  16. If you google more about them they actually like to pick on zoas more as they slime up easily and the shrimps like that. I personally have one small birdnest frag hasn't been any problems so far. Maybe try getting them to host on a coral? It'll be easier to kept they well fed! My shrimps host on torch coral.
  17. They were never reef safe in the first place but with caution, they will nip on on corals if not well fed. And really have to make sure they ARE well fed. I kept them for 3 months already. I did notice they were plucking and nipping on the zoas at first. So I tried feeding my fishes more often and the shrimps stopped and start eating whatever food that drops around them. And hasn't been any problems so far, planning to add more of them
  18. Interesting, you could be right. As I'm using a floating arm Hydrometer, I'm sure not sure if its 100% accurate but my water has been maintaining at 1.026 without any problems. Maybe I should try out your method too!
  19. Because of the large amount of evaporation, sometimes i do manual top up instead. When that happens i notice the salinity drops from 1.026 to 1.025/4, in order to reduce the fluctuation salt is added at the same time it helps replenish other trace elements too. Oh ya I use my tank water to water my plants too
