just went to CF today but the shop owner say the shipment for fiji rock havent arrive yet left about a mixture of big and small, he suggest to me to wait for shipment since i want to invest on fiji rock rather then get these few pieces. Shall I wait or shall I just get that mixture of Big & small to do with cylcing since all are the same rate? suggestion are welcome

I started as a newbie with a 2ft, as I was worry about a lot of thing like running cost and equipment wise,I agreed it has been a tough road struggle to learn new things, and all the short form here in the forum it is using, I felt so noob, but this forum has help me a lot and this 2 ft have been with me for a year plus. Recently found that the wrought iron leg has rust even I paint with aniti rust paint, no choice time to upgrade. Throw away my divider and paint the wall before the new tank (4x2x2) arrive this saturday I was really excited. Here is the place just painted last week

I just started a tank, After reading through about sump tank I am a bit confused on what to put in the sump tank My sump design is 1st compartment: wool & bio home 2nd : skimmer and chiller pump 3rd : refugim 4th : return pump to tank Is coral chip necessary as just bought 10kg today, some say is maintain stable Ph some say is nitrate factory is carbon needed? If it is needed for coral and carbon where should it be placed? Your advise is appreciated

Hi, currently using 1 set of G2 110W on my 2 ft , by end month upgrade my tank to 4x2x2 . What is the recommendation for 4x2x2, keeping LPS and some elegance coral. 1) for example, what watts and how many set? 2) how far from water level? other then Maxspect what are other LED recommendation?

Hi, I am going to get a 4x2x2 tank in a few weeks time, currently I have a maxspect G2 110W for my 2ft, Should I get one more maxspect togther with my old maxspect for my 4ft tank? So which is better I do a few search and there are different view on lighting Some say LED last longer , cooler but cannot be sufficient for SPS Some say Mh is better for SPS I am not going for SPS at the moment but maybe someday. I will prefer for LED as it is cooler and make the chiller work lesser, my budget is $1300. But for my two year using LED maxsepct, it have blown 2 time and they have replace for me, 2ndly I also realise more green algae on glass or is it the water quality? Any way hope bros here can help me in deciding which one should I go as I do not wish to upgrade lighting again and again Thanks

Upgrading my tank to 4x 2 x 2.5 ht tank as a divider, read from forum 2.5 ht have many problem in maintaining ? But I really like the look of a higher tank. Please give more advise, 2ndly any idea to rock scape a divider tank as viewing is frm both side

Hi, I am currently keeping a 2 ft tank for a year plus , now I am thinkng to change to a 4 ft tank use as a divider in my living room, My chiller is teco 1/10Hp Max spect lighting is G2 110W DI/RO unit for distill water The rest of equipment is as follows: Here are the few question 1) What are the equipment I can use back and what are the equipment I need to upgrade 2) To fill my new tank with water it is not possible for me to run the DI/RO unit whole day as the unused water will be alot, if I buy NSW, how much and do they do delivery? 3) What are the media to put in my new sump tank compartment? 4) what size of return pump need to use ? 5) what sepcification of wave maker is recommneded? Thanks try do a WC last nite see any improvement, bt this coral have been with me for a month and there is no issue, I am wondering what is the cause, is it I just add a fiter sock to the overflow to my sump? and change the activated carbon? as my activated carbon is 2 month already. so replace with new carbon and add a filter sock to my sump. This may be the cause?

temperature at 27 degree with chiller TECO brand light: G2 maxspect 160W on from 7pm to 2am ( so I can view at night) in the aftern it is not expose to sunlight and light is off
