Thanks for the comments, intending to get a dosage controller , any recommendation? due to my past experience, it is a better option to have good water management and stable parameter before investing on coral and livestock that cause alot of haywire to my parameter. Yes, I believe so, but no one advise me on that , what is done cannot be undone , jus a question, last night I realised the FR pump is partial stuck with pellets, whenever I stop the pump, few pellets will flow back and stuck on the pipe, and the flow was greatly reduce, how do i prevent this from happening in future as my outlet of the FR is connected to the skimmer, if the FR flow is reduced, it will affecte the skimmer too. Anyway, the cloudiness have clear wonder it is the stuck FR that cause it or what anyway i clear the FR pipe last night and sort of water become abit cloudy but not as cloudy as the first few days, will monitor tonight, if the phosphate is on high side what should be done? My Chaeto in my sump is shrinking, on PL light for 10hr, is it not enough nitrate and phoshate?

Fighting the cloudy water these few days , suspected is the circulation of water is insufficient, therefore added the MP40, and a tunze. my wife choose damsel fish lol!! I know is agressive, but just wan to keep the bioload low, as I like to have more coral then fish . Maybe will add a fire shrimp , a yellow tang and a pair of clown fish. thanks, added another Tunze wave maker think is the aeration or circulation of water now it seem better, read it in the interent that bacteria bloom you need lots of circulation, or maybe the wave maker have cover the layer or denitrius with sand.

ok I will look into PO4 tonite but I m using NP reducing pellets in FR and connect outlet to skimmer, if there is High pO4, what level is not acceptable and what should be done? I have chaeto in my sump as well, withPL light on for 10hour opposite of my display tank

Thanks, yes I put sand when tank arrive, which is 1 month ago, Phosphate I did not test as during cycling thought the 4 parameter should be ammonia, nitrate , nitrite, PH, of cos the first 3 are more crictial. Carbon I added last few days that why my LS is dead? Using active carbon Sera Brand. I need to confirm is the cloudiness cause by bactieria bloom? can UV helps? In such cases, shall I add more clean up crew as the diatom are getting out of control soon

How long does bacteria bloom last ? It been few week, few week event are: Cycle tank 4x2x2. For 2 week with LR, ammonia n nitrite drop to zero water are clear, 3rd week added more LR 17kg, 4th week ammonia n nitrite rise and drop to zero, cloudy for 4th and 5th week, added wave maker yestday, cos can afford only one at the moment Mp40 Water still cloudy, what happen? LS put in 4 th week with two sifting star and two turbo snail, one snail n star die last nite

finally water has clear up! have a back ache did not take any water parameter today, but last night the ammonia at zero and nitrite is on the high side, think it is going through another cycle after I have added the rock, wow got to wait another cycle, but is ok, waiting for stock for my wave maker wonder how is the performace in this tank, can't wait!! one view: another view

Just love my cabling work, hard work pay! and the chiller piping maybe while waiting for LR so nothing to do lol! Last the chiller when I plug in and on it ! Pop! Main DB trip! Guess got to find electrician to run other power point for my chiller as I currently is tapping from same power source! haiz! but I calculate is enough le! never mind better to be safe then sorry temporary off chiller first. Finally got LR today and spend 30min to scape the other view Why is the water cloudy? another cycle starting? and realise a lot of micro bubble, anyone know how to resolve?

Finally All my equipment come and hook up , it take me a few night to do all cable management including hiding cable along sump to make it neat & tidy. Some power head cable are too short therefore I need to extend the cable myself! reconnecting all the hose and running chiller piping myself. Whew! how tiring! Still waiting for CF to come LR!

You can get tunze overflow box, but I guess it may take alot of your iq5, why dun you increase to 1.5 ft or 2 ft, it just a bit differnce in length, anyway, I have a 1 ft sump for sale and a teco TR10 , and a deltec MCE 600 decom from my 2 ft , let me know if you need any thing. with overflow box, you can adjust the height a bit . My overflow box just sold
