  5. Hi bro, I'm also using this surface skimmer(DYMAX?) connected to my canister filter. For the bubble issue, U have to adjust that rod on top to get the surface skimmer to sit higher in the water. From your pic, can see that it is quite deep below the water surface. Hope you get what I mean, nice tank btw.

  10. You can try agitating the rock in the water to get the mushroom to shrink as much as possible. Then take it out and use a small spoon to peel away the mushroom slowly and gently at the base. I've done it with one of those small white plastic stirrers that u can pick up at Mcdonalds or kopitiam before and it worked for me. HTH.
