Hi reefers, I had just gone through a nightmare yesterday that i was trying to get some help to fix one row of my blue LED, turned out that this "professional" eletrician made all my blue LEDs stop working and claiming its nothing to do w him. The color looks terriable now. So I will probably dump this LED at this moment n get a new lighting. Think of the positive side of this incident which gives me an opportunity to try sth new. I started this hobby w LED (never used other light source before) n hv a quite gd result w my LPS so far. I hv just started w some SPS recently, understand that alot reefers hv great success of keeping SPS under T5, would like to give it a try. I'm thinking to simply start w a 2x2 tubes T5 first. Thus, would like to get some advices fr T5 gurus on the bulb combination. Thanks.

Tks for the advice. I hv tentatively separated them by placing a piece of shell between. Torch should not be able to touch sps at this moment. Wil try to frag one if this doesn't work. Btw, admin. this is a duplicate thread. U may want to merge or remove one. Tks again.

OMG. Sorry to hear that, man. I just placed a piece of shell between them so that they cant touch each other at this moment. Hope this can tentatively resolved this problem.

I hv a touch coral whose tentacles may slightly rub up against the base and the lowerest branch of my acropora sometimes when it fully extended. Understand that they should not be placed near to each other however both of them are attached to the rock, remove any may cause rock collapse. Any advice? Am observing closely

Hi Vcysteo, IMO, it should be diatoms. Try cycling ur tank under low light condition or with natural sunlight only for a few days until it disappears, then gradually resume ur normal photoperiod, and also u need to keep NO3 as low as possible. My 2 cents n hope it's helpful:)
