I have been reading up about ich...issit the same as white spots? Just wondering if the fishes can fight it and it will go away without treatment? I remembered loaches for freshwater have this problem and i think if its not too serious it can be gone without treatment. Any1 have experience? For not so serious case of course...

its hp cam. sorry. basically like a fat mushroom. Maybe the word will be a carpet like. but very flexible as it creeps into really odd corners of rocks. Notice it doesnot really like light. Whenever we move it to the front of the tank placing a rock specially for this guy. he will just crawl back to back of the rocks and will always stay at the bottom. It doesnt run ard but stays in 1 spot all the time. after a few attempts we decided to let the fellow be where he likes and not move him anymore.

we have gotten this piece but so far its like pretty hardy. Its was in the shut down tank for a while (not sure how long). I have not seen it in any LFS. Suspect is anenomi (not sure how to spell). coz it moves ard. But usually stays in a spot and tats it. Initially move the fellow to the front but it just moves to gaps of rocks. We are feeding 5 in 1 coral food. It has been with us for maybe 2 months. the color seems the same. Size has always been the same. so not sure if ok...but since everything the same for 2 months guess it should be ok? Will it grow bigger?

the dose (rule of thumb) 1 drip every 2 wks for a 322 tank?

where can we get iodide? from LFS or phamarcy?

went over last night to another forumers house. He has blue and brown powder i think. feeds on normal pellets like the rest of the fishes!

update: almost all traded or decided to keep. ONLY left with the skimmer. Since everybody asking me what i wanna trade with so i decided to trade with any coral except zoas and mushroom has we have quite a fair bit of these.

just a quick question, I have a UVC so decided to use it in the end. unplug the tube to expose the bulb. left it in the rerturn pump compartment. Switch on about 3-4hrs yesterday. Maybe thinking to have a routine instead of turning it on the whole day. Reason why we didnot connect pumps. Coz we are too lazy and the set up is complete so we did not wanna touch the pipes. I know its harmful if exposed. But if its inside the cabinet with the doors closed should be ok? Next is that it will also kill all the BB in the glass rings in the first and 2nd compartment. Was thinking of using a cover. maybe black plastic of to shield off. Will it work or we should just leave it alone since we do not switch on the whole day. maybe just a couple of hours alternate days?

it is confirmed! my Tang is eating turtle pellets as i went home for lunch and was tried again. Tis time the fellow went for the pellet and did not spit it out! I checked the container. its not veggie type of pellets. there are shrimps and fish meat.......but the pellets is green...anyways, going to try other pellets. I have not notice the fellow nibble on the red bamboo..so not sure if he is eating the bamboo

i really have no idea. was messing with the idea as i think turtle eats veg hence their pellets shd be veg? anyways no harm, crashed a few pcs and threw them in. Damsels were going after them and was spitting them out as its too big for the mouth. next thing i knew the tang went for it and actually ate it!

Have the following to trade, please pm me wat u wanna trade with: This fellow is maybe 2" very active too active. climbs on top of rocks to the summits! haha Boyu skimmer. used on our previous 1 ft tank. Decomm so no use for it. Wanted to use a UV but in the end decide not to use. Had this fish a couple of days, started nibbling on pellets. But looks funny with all the small fishes as this guy is pretty big compared with all the small fishes These are the only remaining fake rock we wanted to keep. but decide to go all natural with real rocks

just to update, the tang started eating pellets. u guys will never guess wat kind of pellets. Its eating turtle pellets! starting to chase after and nibble on the pellets

got hold of some bamboo from a nice forumer here as we were visiting them. lets see how it goes.

so red bamboo at first. den try with the pellets later or try both together? so nori or henrt pellets other fishes also can share?

thanks for the advice...baically my mum prefers corals. She doesnt like to keep fishes as they die pretty easy in the 1 ft tank last time. well noted and will at least now concentrate on the corals

any advice where to get it? any other vegans or herbivores out there to recommend as well? Please teach me what you mean by stabilized? is nibbling on rocks and sand considered? i mean if start trying to eat shd be stabilized? I sound a bit stupid but we are toking abt the fish rite? not the red bamboo? so sorry as we have no clue abt this hobby. but smiles on my parents face is worth the while for me.

another qn...fishes from LFS do not readily takes pellets. i wish to train all fishes (infuture now only 3 fish plus a shrimp). of coz vegans can eat the red bamboo thing which i must go find. Alternatively, we can buy vegan fishes....not bad idea but wat fishes are vegans>? A pic of my tank
