roger roger...will it be like super glue where it hardens quickly after use? I mean the tube. Coz the tube hardens very fast and have to throw away even if we just use it for a few drops.

We notice the zoas seems to be over growing and heads starts to drop off. there is afew that attached themshelves onto other rocks and open up. Maybe due to the fishes and all they drop off again. Sadly some dropped into the rock pile which we will not take out. But for those that has dropped onto the sand bed we really wanna stick them on rocks permantly. We do not need alot so if people who wants to sell their used glue please pm me. Save my zoas please.

Hi All, We have installed a new skimmer yesterday. Like the old ones we have to elevate it so that we can control the level in the skimmer. both old and new skimmer the sump water level is until the neck of the bottle which will cause overflow of the skimmer. Anyways, the pump is also new and when we dismantle the pump to look inside it was oilly and greasy. Start up and tune to the optimal level in the skimmer but the "new skimmer symdrom". The water is all fizzy but not foamy, i remember reading somewhere to use luke warm water to run the pump or sumthing. We also notice that the return outlet wastoo big so we fix on a pipe reducer. which also affected the level. We are in the pre-design phase of doing a algea scrubber. The outlet water seems to carry alot of air as the sump compartment where ths skimmer is placed is filled with bubbles. If we were to fabricate a stand with rain shower onto a screen. How will it affect the level of the skimmer more? of coz with the constrution pressure will be higher on the outlet.

Can i have the crab if you dun wan...after running sump for a while i do notice left over food on the wool.. so u may consider putting in the sump to eat the leftovers. The last time we tried all sorts of trap but dun really work. wat happens is that we identify the rock then take it out of the water. Use chopsticks of pincers to pluck the crab out. Which i think is so much more effective. But tats hw we do it mayb not be the right thing for all.

strange sighting..the new purple tip swells and is doing really really well. The "hair isw like so very full body and erects like no tomorrow. Strangely the green pcs which is in the tank for maybe 2 months is showing sign of reduce swelling and the hair is not so full as before...its like now the sick one gets beta and the healthy one gets sick....

the ones we bought is not shown as the pic. its more like wire mesh where the weaving is bigger. Think i read somewhere we need certain hole size? The one my gf bought is like BBQ metal mesh type.

can someone advice where to buy the sreen (white nyoin mesh)? My gf bought one from a shop but the "holes" of the mesh is much bigger then the ones thats shown on the web. Think need small holes? This is the one that i saw here which we cannot seem to find in the shop.

Mt gf bought one tats made of nylon white in color but the holes are too big. According to her, those are the only available ones. Any1 can help thx.

Another update! this time all the HAIR is standing UP. it is also started swelling damn big. Now it had over taken the size of the resident cousin

u have? maybe we can compare?> i already of 2 brand NO3 just to verify. now buy another brand..3 brand test kit to test the same ting? any1 can lend i test? i bring the water over plus my 2 test kit. thus we have 3 test kit to verify. maybe it will help the community of hobbist when they buy test kits

just thinking why the diff in NO3 for the 2 brands. maybe will test tap water to see...or maybe diamond water....anyways, if all the corals and fishes doing well maybe a sign? will update once i have tested

AFter WC the situation seems beta. BTW, i also have UV running longer hours...maybe it helped. Also cut down on feed and number of hours the lights are on

thx ALOT...finally have tips on placing them....now will really depend on my mum if she wants to place them higher for the flow. But she seems to enjoy them infront for her viewing pleasure. but flow is not so high...BTW, i have gotten 3 different colored ones, namely; pink, purplish and yellow green. Is there other colors?

Did 2 WC in a span of 3 days. NO3 is not looking as good as expect in Tetra...But in API is very good...maybe going to construct a Algea scrubber. looks pretty easy...

thx...will monitor. It does swell alittle..when tat happens the color is not so vivid....The color shd still remain vivid when swelling?
