Sps turn brown because of high nutrient !! Thats why only two fishes in my tank!! I never feed my sps for the past 6 mths ....

its seems that your wavemaker is directing more towards the top ..... Sps need random flow in order to thrive well

Due to competing of spaces from my sps, It end up in a battle of stinging each other so one branch got stung~and end up Stn from to 1/3 to 1/2 of the branch~ Worrying that might end up losing the whole frag, I decided to change 15 percent of water instead..Luckily the STN stop ..and the frag is back to its healthy stage again Therefore.I think changing of water might help in slowing down the stages of STN or rather put to a stop to it

When i first started with Sps I also used NSW, but found out that end results dont turn out to be so well, perhaps due to the bad pollution of region seas nowdays It is better to use mixed salt, at least can monitor and adjust the water parameter that suits our sps

Skimmer turned off for two days will not cause SPS to STN~~ High Nutrient will cause Sps to browned out first but not leading to Stn or RTN Stn or Rtn for no reason normally is due to water parameters or unhealthy sps that u got in the first place or worse/Flatworms ,bugs etc Remove your sps and dip into Coral RX, and start doing water changes. Constance shifting of Sps will also stress them out too

Normally cycle for 1 month the longer the better Make sure water parameter is gd before introduce any livestocks into your tank
