Yeah agree. i'm always keeping a lookout whether is there any good deals in Pasar Malam. Hey bro when i find a deal i will pm n ask u whether the price is worth it. Is it okay?
-
Thanks bro lemon. Yeah will add in those which is more peaceful tangs first, then those more agressive ones like PBT. Honestly i love dwarf angels alot but maybe that would be my future project and not going to add butterflies as i understand their difficult level. Cleaner set will go in first then a pair of true percula n a pair of black clown. then will stop for some time n when tank is more mature, then slowly add those more sensitive fishes. Thanks again.

yeah bro thanks for ur advice. Really need to plan what to put in. most likely will be tangs. cleaner set will go in first. so bit by bit slowly add 1 or 2 tangs. Mine is only a 2 ft so need to really get small tangs as not much swim space for them. so far only angel on my mind is Flame angel. Coral wise will be trying out zoas first, not much experience with corals, so will learn slowly bit by bit. Will take pics when i start to add LS. Thanks bro!

I see. Anyway thanks bro for ur sharing. I'm actually quite interested in the Skimz E series but at least a few hundreds man. haha

I'm using 2 sets of Hopar T5. Given by a friend. Do u have a tank thread? Would like to see how u setup a nano, cause might want to setup a 1ft too.

I don't think there is anything wrong with bro ogykogy answering to bro kksg2000 regarding the size, so please don't minus his reputation for nothing. Thanks! Upz for ur sale bro..

I see. So bro which skimmer r u using now? give me some reviews? The design for skimz looks pretty good, slick design.

Hey thanks bro for letting me know DE lightings brings in BM skimmers, cause been looking for online sites which sell equipments but none selling BM. If lets say i want efficiency but at a low or reasonable price i think it's only BM.

I see. So it's the conical design that is bringing this series better than b4 or the bubble plate. Sorry cause i'm confuse as some skimmer which is not conical also has a bubble plate, so just trying to find out which is the factor so as to know which type of skimmer should i get in future.

Great. Then i will leave it for another 2 weeks and hope that i will be patient enough. At the same time grow more cope pods haha Thanks for ur great help bro. Cheers!!!

Hi to all bros. I need some help or advice for my post cycling. I just completed my cycling with Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0 and Nitrate 20. If i'm not wrong the cycling is done right? However i would like to cycle for another 2 weeks if my patience permits me. Within these extra 2 weeks of cycling, there is no more market prawns for the bateria, so will the bacteria still grow even more or remain the same or die off? Is these 2 extra weeks of cycling advisable? and let's say if it is good, is there anything i need to add or improve? Sorry for bothering u bros here. Advices would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!!

Hi bro. yeah missed out another good brand. R u using skimz skimmer? Good reviews?
-
Ur friend must be happy with reef octopus performance. I'm not really sure about the Xp series, is it all cone design? whats the difference between cone design and the usual one? Sorry, don't know much about skimmers. Learning now. Yeah agree that u had a very bad experience with deltec. Not giving them a second chance?
-
Very nice n good looking frags. Too advance for me i think. haha anyway Upzzz for ur sale bro.
-
Yeah thanks so much for ur review bro. I personally like reef octopus alot. Seen my friend's one which is working so good. Is the XP series the latest one?
-
That's good, so i can put at an angle on the rock since can epoxy n anywhere without much wave. cool. haha Thanks for ur reply!

Hi bro. i used to have 1 of this hermit crab and i'm not really sure whether r they reef safe. From what i observe, it did not really eat the corals, instead like to pull off some corals like small frags of zoas. I used to have a real small piece of star polyp and i just leave it on one of the rocks. The hermit crab will always pull the piece down to the sand bed. . That is what i observe la, so whether it's reef safe anot will leave it to the gurus here.

Thanks bro for ur nice comment. Was a little worried and reluctant to post this thread at first because my rock scape is quite simple and nothing special compare to a lot of bros here. Is ur setup wall-mounted? Is it done by the lsf in some shopping centres? i think i saw theirs is wall mounted, correct me if i'm wrong

hi bro limsc. thanks for reassuring. haha scare i give wrong information. Bro Enseng, if ur budget allows, buy a good one. at least reef octopus or bubble magus at least. For me because of budget im using a lower end one which is still good but the skim mate produced really can't compare to my friend's reef octopus or a deltec. Happy reefing!

Hi bros. Do u guys face a problem where the magnet cleaner will scratch the aquarium glass? Cause mine always do. Not sure whether is me or the magnet cleaner fault. Thanks!
-
Hi bro. i don't have much experience using skimmers but read online that skimmers do not remove nitrate at all so it's the same with every brands but i remember a bro telling me in another forum that a good skimmer will remove pollutant fast n more efficient, thus removing them before they turn into nitrate. Don't know if i'm right, maybe u can search online. Hope it helps. Happy reefing!

Yeah saw alot alot of good comments on Deltec. To me ur balloon stick method is a very good one as it gets the job done with such low cost, but overall i'm still pretty new to this hobby so will try your method in future when i get to put in corals. Haha so far only u interested in my thread so thank you bro my first audience

Hi bro binosage, u mean open brain coral cannot be place near or areas with high water flow? Is it okay to epoxy them on rocks? I'm thinking of getting one after my tank is done with the cycling process so got to learn more first.
