u r not using L-shape or any other simple joint to hold it?.. it may let go after sometimes if u just using screws without proper joints!!. just my 2cents

if u scare.. u can hold it w a thick cloth inside the casing but i believe its damn thick and hard enough to tahan the heat !!! i did my previous PL light using trunking too. for 2 yrs .. no problem.
