    Sometimes its could also be the sudden change in environment or a change in your routine. Even a change from 'dirty' water to clean organics free water (due to addition of a strong skimmer) could cause the zoa not to open.

    Happy that my MCE6oo is back to producing thick brown skimmate. Pass few days it was just white foam due to the change in inlet location from Refugium to main tank. =)

      Yep yep. So current routine daily. Add .8mL of KI, 1 drop of Pohl's Extra, 3 drops of Essential Elements (kent marine) and feed NLS pellets. Occasional mysis. Replenish Seaweed/Red bamboo when Yellow tang finishes it.

    I think just give it some time la, my experience with Gobies in my Girl's FOWLR is that they tend to be timid initially. After a week or so when they acclimatize they will be out scouting in the open. Just my 2 cents!

    Selling my sea urchin as I have got my phosphates under control and he is no longer required. A big Healthy specimen, ever greedy fior Algae. About 2" in diameter. Got him about 3months back.     Yar man! It's working quite well I would say! I notice a difference in the smell of the saltwater. I guess my water in the pass was pretty bad. Now's time to be patience and wait for my SPS to color up nicely. MUST BE PATIENT. DON'T KEH KIANG ADD THIS ADD THAT ANYMORE!

    Bought this product about 2weeks back when it just arrived in the shop in Clementi. The product just arrived from the US as advised by the shop in Clementi. Read online that its best to use product within one year of use. SO THIS IS AS 'FRESH' AS IT GETS! Recently bought an oversized skimmer just last week for my tank. My systems nitrate and phosphate has thus reached a a very low level as tested by Salifert's and 'LaCl3 drop test' IMG_0382 by AloysiusMun, on Flickr IMG_0384 by AloysiusMun, on Flickr Bought 2 weeks back willing to let go for 30bucks!     Can anybody advise me if dosing Mg and maintaining Mg at 1400 would help with SPS coloration???

      Depends on the frequency and amount of water changes, the amount of corals you have. You need to observe your corals to see if dosing additives help.

      I change 10-15% a week. I still have loads of space to put corals. The funny thing is when I dose, I see my zoa polyps opening BIGGER. Still reading up on Iodine. A lot of peeps are saying Iodine should be dosed. I am running an over size skimmer to boot. MCE600 on a 25G that's an overkill. So... Hmm...

      Furthermore I have a Refugium that is about 15% my total volume. Probably consuming a lot of iodine. I read that Iodine is required for formation of the pigmentation coating of SPS.
