  2. I have 3 frags of Pink faced Zoa for sale. 2 frags with about 20polyps and the last frag with >30polyps. The polyps are stuck onto a piece of coral chip. The mother colony was from GO about a month back. It took up too much space in my tank and I decided to frag it so that I will have more space for my incoming Zoas. Photo with maxspect with all channels on: Photo with maxspect with only blue channel: Frag with about 20polyps going at only 15bucks and the one >30 going at only 20bucks! Prefer dealing in the East or Town. Pm me for quick deal!
  3. Willing buyer willing seller! It's up to individuals to decide.
  4. Zoas are burning a hole in my pocket!

  5. Hello How much more chaeto do u have left? Looking for some more chaeto to put in my refug.
  6. Which one are you referring to? The one on the right with dusty blue-green skirting?
  7. Alright will do that. Currently I'm very worried about my Mandarin pair from Henry. I saw them feed for myself in him tank on Henry's RG. However, in my tank they just refuse to eat RG. Its been one day already and I can see that the male stomach is sunken in. The female got smart and managed to get into my refugium. Must have ate quite a lot of my Tigger pods from Reef Nutrition. The loophole has since been resolved. Wondering if the Mandarins will start feeding again soon.
  8. Sometimes I wonder what have you not tried or know about Marine stuff. Do I have to keep repeating the process over a week or in within a few days they would adapt to this?
  9. Seems like everyone is asking me that. I will do up some sketches as the whole sump is actually blocked out by black sticker. Can only shoot from the top.
  10. Guys, any idea how to reverse the sleep cycle for a Christmas wrasse? He's active time in the open is 8am-1pm how do you change it to 6pm-12midnight?
  11. They have yet been introduced into the Main tank yet.
  12. Thanks Lemon! Do you think you can ID this for me? I found this little dude in the Refug. 10cent diameter. Wondering if its safe to put it in my Main tank. Hmm...
  13. CoralsUnder White and Blue Channel: MyFavourite Yuma coloring up slowly, developing green and pink stripes! Somecorals under Actinic lighting: There are still 2 more yumas in recovery as I split them and A Ricordea florida I did not picture as its still acclimatizing! Hehe!
  14. Finally I see some fruits of my labour after 3 months of planning; had to do a lot of reading up as well as to meet my tank maker (Vincent from Aquarium Artiste) multiple times to set up the tank. Before setting up the Main tank, I had already set up a holding tank for myOnyx clowns from Coral farm. I couldn't stop myself from buying them as they were just calling out to me! The tank runs on a natural filtration of Live Rock (approx 8kg), LiveSand (1 Bag) as well as 1Kg of Biohome Plus in the Sump. Bacteria from Henry@Marine Life is being used for kick starting the Nitrogencycle. There is no Skimmer used, I intend to use my Refugium to do nutrient export. Rowaphos is also used to reduce phosphates simultaneously. There is also a weekly change of 15% Saltwater mix. A Hailea 1/10HP chiller is used to maintain the water temperature at 26degree celsius. LED lighting is used. A modified Maxspect 110W, 5 White LED changed toViolet LED. Food feed includes: NewLife Spectrum Small Fish formula Henry'sReef Gourmet ReefNutrition Live Phytoplankton ReefNutrition Tigger Pods (whole bottle in Refugium) Photo of Main Tank with Blue and White channels on: Photo of Main Tank with White Channel ONLY: Close-upshot of the Scaping: CurrentLivestock list: 2xOnyx Clownfish (in Temp Tank) 1xVanuatu Flasher Wrasse 1xGreen Christmas Wrasse 1xBanded Starfish 1xSand Dollar Intend to get: 2xPeppermint shrimp (aiptasia control, irritated with a few persistent ones) 2xMandarin fish (feeding pair from Henry@ML) Some pics of my clownfish in the Temp Tank: Picture of my Christmas Wrasse and Vanuatu Flasher Wrasse: Con't
  15. Found this little dude in my Refug. Wondering if he's reef safe. 10cent coin diameter. Suspect he's a brittle star or serpent star. Are they all reef safe?
  16. Hi Moderators, can you please shift this thread to the Nano section? Posted in the wrong one.
  17. Yup the Fuge and the Sump is at the side of my tank. Hmm photos huh, a bit hard to take as its totally covered up. I can shoot from the top but see nothing. Maybe I draw up a diagram over the weekend la.
  18. Anyone knows how to reverse the fish sleep cycle? Especially for Christmas wrasse? He has the habit of coming out of the sand at about 8am and by 2pm its back in the sand. I am trying to get them most active between 6pm-12midnight as that is when my tank lights will be on. Would cloaking the whole tank for a few days and feeding only the tank at night change the fish habits? Of course the light cycle would be automated and regulated by the Maxspect. Currently I'm feeding them twice a day and I will reduce it to one feeding at night at about 8pm. Photoperiod now is also reduced, running only 4 hours from 8pm-12midnight as some of my corals were keep in a tank with just my study lamp and blue led on for 6hours, the intensity of the light is very much lesser. Hence the acclimatization period of 4 hours photoperiod. Will adjust according when I observe the corals to be doing fine. One more thing, would Peppermint shrimp attack any of the fishes? ESP Mandarins? Or would my Peppermint shrimp be whacked by my Wrasses?
  19. Yup yup build up slowly. Kinda have in mind what corals I'm gonna keep. Mainly Softies; Zoos and Yumas.
