    Can anybody advise me if dosing Mg and maintaining Mg at 1400 would help with SPS coloration???

      Depends on the frequency and amount of water changes, the amount of corals you have. You need to observe your corals to see if dosing additives help.

      I change 10-15% a week. I still have loads of space to put corals. The funny thing is when I dose, I see my zoa polyps opening BIGGER. Still reading up on Iodine. A lot of peeps are saying Iodine should be dosed. I am running an over size skimmer to boot. MCE600 on a 25G that's an overkill. So... Hmm...

      Furthermore I have a Refugium that is about 15% my total volume. Probably consuming a lot of iodine. I read that Iodine is required for formation of the pigmentation coating of SPS.
