    Has anybody tried running a Nano Marine tank with the LumiQ?

      Why don't you go for a 1 ft cube instead? HOB filter, a PAR38 for lighting, can even consider getting the tank from East Ocean Aquatic... optic white glass. ;)

      WAH the prices are very competitive! Might go for the 20cm cube and blast it with a Par38 or high output LED, will get a nano wave-maker, daily 25% water change.

      Any idea whether the Hydro nano wm produces a lot of heat?

      So tempting but how to convince gf to let me start? hmm...

      Need to find nicely shaped LR too. I don't mind artificial ones and I seed it with bacteria slowly.
