I'm aiming for my tank to thrive.. looking at Bro Slapper's Nano Tank thread as reference to build a healthy and colorful tank. In his tank he also used a lot of additives to maintain his's. I will also try your method, as it saves money too. But in the long term, can i really maintain this tank and thrive without additive ? My Theme is Minimalist Thinking of getting only 5 KG of LR only Corals - Xenia , Frog Spawn, GSP & Zoas Invert - Harlequin Shrimp + Star fish , Sexy Shrimp & Fire Shrimp Fish - Firefish x1 , Clown Fish x 2 , Basslet - Candy x 1 , Basslet - Swiss x 1 ( adding 1 fish per week after cycling ) QNS : Can anyone tell me if the LS i have is compatible ? QNS : Is 5KG of LR is enough for basslet to swim and hide ? If dkh too low , your ph will have mood swing Dkh = alkalinity example Like a sponge .. if dkh too low - your PH will swing easily ( to increase it - baking soda or buffer ) if dkh too high - your PH very hard to swing ( to lower it do water change )
