Thanks bro... I'm just worried cos polyps were extended then suddenly shortened during the day and lengthy at night so worried I might have done something wrong... Most of the frags are coloring up very nicely and I do see growth too... If that is a good sign then I will be at ease Liao

Hi hi! Wondering if anyone has any suggestion or advice on how I can get my sps to extend their polyps fully during lighting hours? Just to clarify, their polyps do extend during lighting hours BUT when the lights go off after an hour or so and I use a small touch light to look at my sps, their extension are unbelievable! Parameters are great, fishes are fat fat and most importantly my sps n zoas have since started growing and branching out... However, if anyone has an good advice on how I can get polyp extension in the lighting hours rather then when lights are off would be great! I do have some polyp extension during lighting hours but when lights go off, WOW! The polyp extensions are ridiculous! Wondering if I can change the timing they open their polyps... I turn them inside out, throw into washing machine, 2 normal wash, 1 heated wash with bleach followed by an extra rinse... So far so good... Btw, those worried, bleach disintegrate when u properly dry your sock

Check nutrient levels, NO3 should be undetectable n pO4 <0.04 ppm w a reliable test kit... Hope it helps

Depending on your return pump flow... You will need to see if your lps are swaying... They dun need excessive flow but will need to see them gently moving.... Imo at least add another wavemaker like tunze
